yeah i guess that is funny. i talked to these guys after a show once and they were nice, but really condescending. can't really appreciate people like that. especially from people whose jobs are dependant on fans buying records or attending their shows.
What did you expect? They dont have time to talk to all "fans" around.
Did you bring some interesting subjec to to the improvised conversation? Or did you said something like "what delay do you use"? "Are you still mad with Damon Che"?
Come on, man... I mean, I would love to talk to Ian, but in another context, not from "fan" side.
oh for christ's sake, first off i ran into ian in the lobby and treated him like a regular person and told him i enjoyed the show. second, he invited us backstage to hang out for awhile. and no i didn't bring up retarded topics like damon che or delay because i also find that shit boring. we talked about normal shit.
oh yeah...youre the fuck face that thought i was lying when i said i talked to damon che after a show in kansas city a few weeks ago. if you really want to meet these people all you have to do is GO TO A SHOW! they will be there and they will talk to you. it's not that hard.
i mean, what's so difficult about talking to someone who is just sitting there doing nothing? just about everytime i go up to someone and make conversation they seem happy to talk because they are so bored from doing the same thing night after night.
So you are alive! I thought that you were confined into a mental institution or something.
The downwards aspects of fame in music: when you have to listen every single fanboy`s pseudo-interesting commentary.
I dont think that they are bored from playing their music. How could they be? Specially this kind of stuff. And if they are, they read a book, watch a movie, drink some scotch, or write poems.
really? what the fuck is your deal? by the way how fucking famous do you think don cab is? it's not like they need bodyguards or something. yes they do sit in the bar bored, not from playing music, but from the repetitiveness of touring. no they don't read books and where do you think they watch movies? they don't tour in a fucking bus!! they tour in a god damn van. the same van they've been touring in for at least six years. so yeah they do enjoy talking to fans. you poor lost asswipe.
i'm Roswellsounds and i'm gonna shit on whatever you have to say. i'm always right even though i've never been in the same room with whoever we are talking about and i've got no basis for my arguement. i'm just a hater. i hate on anyone who has had more interesting things happen to them than me. what i can do, however, is play lame covers on my acoustic for pretty much nobody except my mom.
Hahaha!! That`s the way! I love to see you try your writing. It does you good. So your brain functions at least a little. The Don Cab van? I remember that story from 2000... The final dark days of don cab...
You must know that I play very complex music, my friend. I will send the vids to you, and you can give me your opinion. But I am sure that you will really like it (I know that you are completely ignorant about music theory, but...) =D
the website that supposedly has the rest of the interview is shit
