@2001Justalink if someone loses a lot of weight in a short period of time surgery may be the only option. Other times it just takes time, it really depends on the individual and the amount weight lost. Hope this helps.
Oh hai! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my GF got beautiful Six pack abs and lost a ton of weight with it.
@nsfm69 your GF must have eaten less than she burned and most likely increased activity level, just the name of the pill alone should raise your skepticism meter. Fat burners can help the calories burned side of the equation however w/o a calorie reduction or exercise there is no magic.
BUT IT'S ALSO VERY EASY AND QUICK TO LOSE IT. UNLIKE OTHER MUSCLES, YOU CAN WORK OUT YOUR ABS EVERY DAY BUT IT'S VERY EASY TO GAIN/LOSE YOUR ABS STATUS
IT DIFFERS FOR EVERYONE PRINCIPALLY BC OF METABOLISMS. PPL WITH FASTER METABOLISMS (LIKE ME) CAN EAT A SHITLOAD BUT NOT PUT ON WEIGHT WHEREAS SOMEONE WITH A SLOWER METABOLISM NEEDS TO BE CAREFUL AND DO THE '5-[HEALTHY]-MEALS-A-DAY' THING
CARDIO IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT. IF U SEE SOMEONE, GENERALLY SPEAKING WHO IS 'CUT' OR 'RIPPED' AND THEY TELL U THEY NEVER DO CARDIO THAT IS THE EASIEST WAY 2 TELL THEY'RE ON STEROIDS
HAVING SAID THAT, IT'S EASY TO GET GOOD ABS, PROVIDED
@Eleetnessful actually the fast/slow metabolism thing a myth as it is quite rare for one to have this and can be diagnosed. In fact overweight people tend to have a higher metabolism as their body needs to work harder for simple tasks such as respiration or walking. Send us a PM if you are interested and we can send you the research. Thanks for watching.
I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO SAY IT WITH OUT COMPLETELY REITERATING MYSELF
OH YEAH, I ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THAT AS YOU GET OLDER YOUR METABOLISM SLOWS WHICH IS NOT GOOD -
FOR EXAMPLE, I'M 25, AND I CAN EAT A TON AND NOT GAIN SIGNIFICANT WEIGHT (I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM LIKE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER I EAT) IF I HAD A SLOW METABOLISM NOT ONLY WOULD I GAIN A LOT OF WEIGHT, BY THE TIME I'M LIKE 50 I'D BE IN BIG TROUBLE
@Eleetnessful a slow or fast metabolism (Hypo or hyper thyroidism), these are not common so when people say I have a fast or slow metabolism it tends not to the case. Rather people over or underestimate how many calories they take in and also the same is true of activity level. If you are interested in more PM us and we can elaborate w/o a character limit.
@BestPriceNutrition Thanks guys for your informative videos...keep it up. I needed to clarify a point you mentioned about meal frequency. Based on my knowledge, getting good food into our system every 3 hours or so (like snacks between main meals) is important because it helps us stablize blood sugar levels and prevents us from overeating at the next meal. Therefore, it will curb fat storage and sustain our energy levels thoughout the day. Look forward for your input. Cheers
@khld1 a couple years ago I would have concurred however, this has been proven to be a myth, it really makes no difference. There is something to be said for creating more of a routine and therefore keeping people on point, however the effect on blood sugar (in terms of causing people to overeat) and storing BF is not true. Thanks for checking out our videos.
@itorres91 well it has a lot of calories so if your goal is to get lean and see your abs you should look for a product with less calories unless you are taking it now and have remained lean.
LOL 9:23-9:43. This and the video when your voice took a stroll down puberty lane was lol material. Keep it up guys the info and indirect humor moments are great.
@youngsoldier93 it's really a tight rope you are walking between eating less than you burn and eating enough to limit muscle loss (and in some case build muscle for those that are new to training and eating enough protein). Remember this applies to someone trying to get a six pack rather than keeping one where you would eat to maintain for the latter. The energy from the calorie deficit would ideally lead to stored body fat being burned. Hope this helps.
@BestPriceNutrition Flora Udo's 3-6-9 Blend, ive heard really good things about it, whats your take on it?, and would it be sufficient enough or would i still have to supplement with fish oils? Thanks Guys.
@cacamonster91st we like Udo's Oil, ideally you would take ~ 1 tablespoon of Udo's Oil and a fish oil would be ideal. This is because the omega-3 in Udo's Oil is ALA which men have a particularly difficult time converting to DHA so a good fish oil supplement would fill that void. We recommend both because fat is a macro nutrient so you need a lot. For fish oils we really like Minami and New Chapter as they are both processed correctly, the rest are treated w/ organic solvents (not good).
@demet199 the 2 fat burners on table are Empyrean Nutrition Lipo-Sear and Iforce Dexaprine. The Lipo-Sear has some good ingredients including raspberry ketones and theobromine.
I am really interested in getting a stack for when I go to the gym, i've been lacking these past few weeks because of school, I want my stack aimed toward losing weight, but also gaining muscle mass. I have a hole in my pocket but want to get products but, i don't want to waste my money for products that i don't need. what would be a good regiment to keep up with, and a diet to maintain with the stack?
@A06Train stick with the basics, in addition to a good diet and training program. Pick up a protein powder and a good EFA supplement to start. That will get you started and won't break the bank.
How much is diet, for abs, i heard about 75 percent, because i see ppl in the gym doing crunches and sit up like crazy, will doing those exercises contribute to abs?
im taking caffeine and green tea as fat burners, and i was thinking on taking yohimbe. what do you think about it? im 6'3 183 and do cardio 4 times a week (ill prob start doing 5 times) and lift 5 times a week as heavy as i can. and i also had a healthy diet.
@rammajamma1993 it really has more to do with diet and training intensity more so than adding yohimbe. you can add it to your regimen if you'd like, some people do not react well to it.
@TheMRamstaff OK so that is more protein than you actually need. If you are trying to lean out that puts you at about a 2 : 1.25 ratio (protein : carbs) which would be good for getting lean. As discussed in the video we don;t quite know you activity level so if you are very active you may want to up your carbs a bit.
@BestPriceNutrition THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING , TWICE EVEN :d YES Y DO A PULL DAY A LEG DAY AND A PUSH DAY + 3 DAYS OF 30-40 MIN CARDIO Y SETTLED ON 200-300 ON WORK DAYS AND 150 ON CARDIO DAYS , THAT SHOULD BE FINE Y THINK
I really like that you touched upon the meal frequency myth. With all the recent research dispelling the myths of meal frequency and maximum protein absorption in a single meal it really is surprising how many people still constrain themselves to a rigid diet. I'm glad more and more mainstream nutrition oriented minds are realizing that meal timing is irrelevant with regards to body composition as long as you get your required macro-nutrients for the day. Keep up the great work guys!
@Steelo320 thank you for the kind words and for watching our videos. However mark my words some contrarian will get on here and say we are idiots, etc...
@orochimaruisugly supersetting most of ur work out boosts metabolism. Most people trying to lose weight do this and of course cardio (intervals hopefully)
Great video, really covered the vitals imo. Also liked that you didn't just stake the 5-8 meals per day or whatever as an absolute recommendation, because some people (like me) just do much better with fewer meals like 2-4, and it works just fine :)
Good video guys thanks for taking the time to make these videos you guys explain and clarify everything
