I can't help but noticing the influence Zimmer must of had from Mozart, some themes are so obviously Mozart like themes especially here, How he combined Mozart with African music? I have no freakin idea, but I suppose that's the genius that Hans Zimmer is...deffinetly one of his greatest works..

Hmmm I'd identify the Prideland part with the shock Simba receives upon seeing what has become of his home. Interestingly, a parallel is drawn with the same theme occurring after Mufa's death, so in a sense Simba's witnessing the 'death' of his kingdom.

The beginning from where Simba is running is amazing.And if you listen closely you can hear the choir saying "Simba" at the end,which makes sense since Simba means lion in Swahili^^
