Hi, I have a usb harddrive that is 2TB. Kan I make 2 partitions, NTFS and FAT32 and choose to save the files on FAT32?

you can use any usb storage device as long as it's compatible with the installer and loaders.

using wiibackupmanager you can install any wii game ISO to a fat32 hard drive and still use it on your computer. that's why i keep saying wbfs is obsolete :P

@bladexdsl I have a Wii with homebrew channel, d2x, and usb loader gx. I also have a Seagate GoFlex drive...I put in a WBFS file without going through WBFS Manager. It doesn't work, so I'm downloading WBFS Manager now and formatting the drive to NTFS. Am I on the right track so far?

you cant just add wbfs files using this if you want to do that you need to format the drive to fat32 and use my other tutorial. with this tutorial you have to format to wbfs and only the wii will be able to use the drive unless you partition it.

@bladexdsl got it working...apparently, the wbfs manager doesnt work for me. instead, i used wii game manager, and formatted it to wbfs. the only problem is that i can't download the game images on wii game manager, only on usb loader gx

you need to download the torrent files than when extracted they turn into ISOS. you need a torrent program like Utorrent.

you have to install isos 1 at a time. if you use fat32 you can install multiple isos in 1 shot though.

no the wad file doesn't need to be the problem is prob with the program itself it's been discontinued and many modern games won't work with it anymore.

check the description for link to a thread with compatible drives. i use WD mypassport 320gb not 1 problem with it ever. WD drives seem to work the best IMO.
