I'm from Argentina and I think it's incredible that Scotland can't advance further in the World Cup having been clearly the best playing team in pool round. They are the least accomplished of the finest playing national sides.
It used to be that the home team changed strip if there was a clash (the idea being that the travelling side would only need to bring one strip and the home side would have easy access to alternate colours). This is no longer the case, another fine tradition ruined by the IRB.
So then you need both...that's why there is both. Dumbass.
I once saw a great school team lose in a final because the forwards refused to pass the ball out, and they lost. I'm sure the same would happen if the backs just hogged the ball too.
Scrum-half must've showed awful initiative and leadership then.
i'm not a big fan of this forwards v backs thing in rugby, watching a team play where both units compliment each other is what makes rugby, a thug's game (played by gentlemen) The Beautiful Game!
well its impressive strength and determnation.... but theres little skill or tactics involved, and france never properly manned a defence behind that wall because they were afraid of the pass away from the maul.... they 'could' have stopped it possibly.

Really, the maul goes 22m and the French are worried about the backs? Difficult to stop a maul when it's moving. That's why they did away with it.
