my great aunt has this old picture that is over a 100 years old of her grandmother and in this old framed picture is the ghost of her husband who had died years earlier. and she never went public with the photo so its real. we are supposed to get it when she dies. and i will put it on here for everyone to see. and with never going public i hope people believe it. i sure as hell did.

Myself and 5 other hunting guides saw a ghost leaving our hunting lodge, as we drove up about 2 AM, come to find out the lodge was a stage depot mid-late 1800s, and a miner (whom was lost by avalanche w/cabin and gold mine) would come only at night to give his gold to owner so she could cash it in for him... Lodge owners wife saw same guy one winter night & refused to go home till cops arrived, they found no tracks in snow, where he walked off into woods. ALL TRUE..

Back in the 70s a park ranger went missing at Devil's Den and when they found him (alive) in his car his hands were clenching the steering wheel with his back pressed up against his seat. To this day he has never revealed what happened that night. Creepy.

A friend of mine was a Geriatric RN. A test was done on a patient that was 'going sour', a medical term used when a person is near death. They had the person laying on a scale prior to death. Their body was was recorded. When the person died, 13 ounces of body weight was lost. Ipso facto, the Spirit or Soul if you will weighs 13 oz, and departs the body when the body dies. I was there for the first time in my life over the Fourth of July holiday. Never knew of the ghost stories or did I believe in them when I heard about them when I was there. What I will say is before you go smack talking about the people that post events they have captured there, you should go yourself, see for yourself. Take some photos and video, I think you will be suprised.

Actually Rusfi, they only see what was there when they died. I was doing some research on ghosts in England and some are seen appearing between floors because the castles have been altered since the person died. So what was a floor in the 16th C. is a wall in today's time. Apparitions were seen w/ 1/2 their body coming out of the floor and the other 1/2 dangling from the ceiling in a lower room. They walk on what was, not what is.

I think a lot of paranormal activity is caused by ghosts and spirits (spirits are the souls who cross over but come back to visit) and Imprints which are usually found when a tragedy occurs and has such an impact that it marks the place (land) where it happened and folks feel like there are ghosts present. I've seen a documentary on this photographer. It was interesting. One thing he does is take many, many pictures at the same spot for a long time. Most of the time he gets nothing. Sometimes he gets the pictures like in the video.
I remember seeing this on tv, pretty interesting pictures. You can clearly see through the guy on the bottom right and he is wearing a military, cape like clothing that was common for troops during the civil war era.

I have lived at the seminary (Krauth House) and in the old toll house on Chambersburg Pike, and I can assure you that my wife, children, and friends have all experienced seeing apparations and other strange things. I was in Gettysburg as a child. Recently i was discussing ghosts with my mom. My mother is not dramatic in any way. She told me that at one point we lost our way. My dad stopped and she got out to ask for directions. She said she immediately became physically ill. She was very emotional about it... She told me the same thing happened to her when we were in a church in England. You cannot have that many people die horrifically and not have something remain.

my great aunt has this old picture that is over a 100 years old of her grandmother and in this old framed picture is the ghost of her husband who had died years earlier. and she never went public with the photo so its real. we are supposed to get it when she dies. and i will put it on here for everyone to see. and with never going public i hope people believe it. i sure as hell did.

Myself and 5 other hunting guides saw a ghost leaving our hunting lodge, as we drove up about 2 AM, come to find out the lodge was a stage depot mid-late 1800s, and a miner (whom was lost by avalanche w/cabin and gold mine) would come only at night to give his gold to owner so she could cash it in for him... Lodge owners wife saw same guy one winter night & refused to go home till cops arrived, they found no tracks in snow, where he walked off into woods. ALL TRUE..

What would those ghosts do with thier time if those rocks ever got removed for some reason? What if they showed up one morning to prance around on the rocks like in the picture,and a construction crew was there with bulldozers while dynamiteing the rocks,making way for a Walmart or condo's. Later,do they continue to prance around the Walmart checkout lanes "pretending" they are at Devils Den,or do they have to find a different untouched part of the battlefield to keep living in the past?

Back in the 70s a park ranger went missing at Devil's Den and when they found him (alive) in his car his hands were clenching the steering wheel with his back pressed up against his seat. To this day he has never revealed what happened that night. Creepy.

As a matter of fact the moment I see or hear funky effects, fast edit montages, or God forbid shaky camera work with zooming in and out effects, I reach for the remote. It's like they all try to reproduce the look of the Zapruder film or something. I'm so over all that crap, it insults my intelligence and gives me a headache. Just tell the story straight out. A friend of mine was a Geriatric RN. A test was done on a patient that was 'going sour', a medical term used when a person is near death. They had the person laying on a scale prior to death. Their body was was recorded. When the person died, 13 ounces of body weight was lost. Ipso facto, the Spirit or Soul if you will weighs 13 oz, and departs the body when the body dies. I believe Gettysburg is haunted simply because the battle there was so intense and so many died in a few days. It's a shame they're still there. I feel rather bad for them. Since ghosts have not crossed over, they can't make that kind of light, and appear as shadows or people on film. Chances are very high that if you got an orb on video or a pic, it's an angel. I was there for the first time in my life over the Fourth of July holiday. Never knew of the ghost stories or did I believe in them when I heard about them when I was there. What I will say is before you go smack talking about the people that post events they have captured there, you should go yourself, see for yourself. Take some photos and video, I think you will be suprised.

Street image > Alt+PrtScn, then in Phtshp Paste. Text > Color droplet > Rasterize > Warp (to match flaws of image due to lens distortion) > Flatten Image > Save As...
This is a rough template I used to alter a street sign I copied from Google Maps to say something cute with my girlfriend's name on it. It took approx 5 mins and the result was almost seamless. Imagine if I really hunkered down and spend a lot of time on manipulating an image.

Actually Rusfi, they only see what was there when they died. I was doing some research on ghosts in England and some are seen appearing between floors because the castles have been altered since the person died. So what was a floor in the 16th C. is a wall in today's time. Apparitions were seen w/ 1/2 their body coming out of the floor and the other 1/2 dangling from the ceiling in a lower room. They walk on what was, not what is.

LOL!! That's great! I think a lot of paranormal activity is caused by ghosts and spirits (spirits are the souls who cross over but come back to visit) and Imprints which are usually found when a tragedy occurs and has such an impact that it marks the place (land) where it happened and folks feel like there are ghosts present. Since I'm not a ghost, I don't know why they don't see the Pizza Hut or Motel 6, U'd need a full blown psychic for that answer.

I have lived at the seminary (Krauth House) and in the old toll house on Chambersburg Pike, and I can assure you that my wife, children, and friends have all experienced seeing apparations and other strange things. Just because you've no experiences does not negate the 1000's of others who have had legitimate encounters. Sorry, but you are really in the minority in this respect.

the only people in Gettysburg who believe in ghosts are the ones who run the ghost tours....residents of Gettysburg laugh when they see the tourists walking up and down the streets, paying money to hear fairy tales....as a lifetime, tax-paying citizen of this town, let me say this: THERE ARE NO GHOSTS IN THIS TOWN. I just made it real simple for you....now, wasn't that easy to understand??????

Maybe for you to understand but I have heard, seen, and been touched on the shoulder by three separate spirits in my lifetime, there are definitely ghosts at Gettysburg, If you live there then I suggest you do as scottyjinpa said!

You know you are an ASS I have a very nice life thank you and if I ever do visit Gettysburg it will be for the history not to ghost hunt, because I know they are there! And you have one of the most CLOSED minds I have ever seen! I f you don't believe in ghosts then why even bother looking at these videos?! That's why I told you to get a life and stop antagonizing people whose beliefs are not in alignment with your narrow view of the world.

ive been to that battel feld and just walking where the battel took place you get an erie felling.. eaven if there might not be any real gosts you can still fell the engery of what happened there

Classic photographic "extra", and unexplained. I have seen this happen with psychic orbs. Those taking the photograph see nothing, but the photograph looks like raindrops are dotted on it, often tens of them.
You have photographed an apparition, a ghost, and it is certainly real to the camera, and that is real enough.

I was in Gettysburg as a child. Recently i was discussing ghosts with my mom. My mother is not dramatic in any way. She told me that at one point we lost our way. My dad stopped and she got out to ask for directions. She said she immediately became physically ill. She was very emotional about it... She told me the same thing happened to her when we were in a church in England. You cannot have that many people die horrifically and not have something remain.

and being a civil war reenactor with the confederacy, i do feel battlefields are haunted so i dont think that we need to be fakin stuff when on any given day at any given battlefield you could have some sort of an encounter

yea i watched most haunted live last night and in the jennie wade house found out that they were faking when, they asked this supposed person who supposedly hanged the sharpshooter that accedentally shot jennie wade if he is or was a union soldier, well all hell breaks loose however, if it were indeed a federal soldier from then he would not have resonded to union soldier cuz few people know this, but that was an afterwar term, they were called federal soldiers

This show is the worst. I will watch only because they are in Gettysburg, And i go there about 7x a year. I am scared they will give Gettysburg a bad name after this. They need to stay on their side of the Atlantic. We have the Ghost Hunters over here so they can stay over there. And all the nay sayers out there, unless you have been to Gettysburg, sober, don't comment on it.

it could be real but im doing ict graphics/animation course and its easier than you think to fake these things, our lecturer used a gohst photo as an example of how to make these kind of things so me and a freind tried it and it looked pretty convincing! although it does look convincing enough and good pic!

well I suppose if you don't believe in ghosts..you are inclined to de-bunk evidence, but fact is that most of the old Battlefields(Gettysburg,Antietam) are haunted and do have high levels of activity
