this is one of the most ops wonderful this is a real country this is COLOMBIA the farc FUCK FARC FUCK FARC FUCK COMUNISTAS IN SPANISH FUCKIN BITCHES FUCK URSS FUCK CHINA FUCK KOREA FUCK CUBA THAT TAKE A COUNTRY WITH THE WEAPONS AND DONT WHIT THE DEMOCRACY
Ingrid could be a big shot in France, but here in Colombia she, at the time of her abduction.. was no more than a 3rd rate politician. A light weight in Colombian politics, that just came in 5th place during 2002 presidential elections. Imagine, her political party was named: Oxigen Party ! What a stupid name, for a low rate politician.
Yes...but Yolanda Pulecio, Ingid Betancourt mother is a mean MTF, who, while Ingrid´s was in captivity... she dedicated his efforts to difamate Colombia and president Alvaro Uribe, every chance she could in Europe and France.
Mean bitch who we don´t like a bit here in Colombia. She is to blame for the more than 6 years that her daughter, Ingrid, was held captive in the Jungles by the terrorist FARC. Withouit her noise she probably could have been release many years before.
We don´t forget two courageous soldiers that fell into farc's hands 11 years ago: JOSE LIBIO MARTINEZ and PABLO EMILIO MONCAYO. See the video PATASCOY here in youtube.
Bush had nothing to do with this. He is still wondering where Columbia is on a map of the world. He let his three US hostages to their own fate for five years. He isn't known as the "moron president" for nothing.
Colombia should be congratulated for carrying out this operation and may it succeed in bringing the war and kidnappings to an end. Sometimes when you shine a light on cockroaches (FARC) they scatter.
I agree. The goverment wouldn't use the national army in such a complex operation to rescue a soldier or a farmer... Anyway, it's was by far a great operation. Sadly it will bring undesirable consequences.
wow! What a remarkable lady. I feel bad to say I didn't know of this story until yesterday. She is certainly an inspiration to many. Thank God, indeed.
wow! What a remarkable lady. I feel bad to say I didn't know of this story until yesterday. She is certainly an inspiration to many. Thank God, indeed.
Funny how both Sarkozy (whose efforts failed repeatedly) and Bush (who didn't do squat for his three American hostages and couldn't find Columbia on a map of Columbia) are both claiming credit for a Columbian Army operation they had nothing to do with.
well that's not true... at least Sarkozy asckowledged that he didnt know anything about the rescue plan. besides France brought colombian hostages stories in the media. there's thousand of associations that support the hostages there. Plus France was against attacking the FARCS, and the way Colombian governement finally used the ruse is a consequence of that... thus, things are always more complicated than a hollywoodesque vision of the world :)
Who's talking about Hollywood? Oh yes, the Bruce Willis film they will make out of this... Bétancourt needs to be nice to Sarkozy in order to secure the liberation of the other hostages, to go on fighting against the FARCS and to regain political prominence and go on fighting corruption in Columbia. Sarkozy needs the good PR and he knows which side his bread is buttered. Bush is totally out of the loop, as usual when diplomacy is involved.
True. I've already explained elsewhere that in Canada, we have a province called British-Columbia/Colombie-Britannique and that the country's name is Colombie in French. So naming it "Columbia" in English comes naturally to this French speaker.
