Right, ChangeTheChannelSong; all this and so much more is in his memoir. I love that book, and I'm a reader. Allison Glock is an excellent writer and he has such a story -- funny, shocking, interesting, fun; and he is incredible strong. Can't put it down once I pick it up.
I really wish he would sit down & do another long in-depth interview about his coming out, deciding to have a child with Jaymes, how he feels about his fans that have stuck thru thick & thin with him, how he feels fame & money have changed him, etc. I want an hour on OPRAH with Jaymes & Parker & stories about his UNICEF travels & soooooo much more!
A lot of times when something bothers someone they may not take time to think about unless someone brings it up then it bothers you because you are thinking about it.
Me too....after seeing this i feel really close to him because i went through a lot of same things and watching this kinda made me stronger...if he could go through it i can too... Thanks Clay!!
Man, clay just did not seem jaded when we first saw him on american idol. He seemed like he was just out of a suburban high school. Who would have ever known he had such a horrible upbringing. People need to shut up about dissing Clay. He's a nice dude!
probably, she sympathized with Clay. I think that she thought that it is natural that Clay participated in the funeral service of the grandmother...Clay's not impudent at all!
Thanks for posting this! I'd been looking for this interview all over the Internet, but I couldn't remember the name of the show that he was on for this interview, so I'm really glad that I finally found this. :) This was such a personal and in-depth interview. I loved it.
He said his dad was a racist and would use the "n" word (i guess when referring to African-Americans, at least, that's what i understood!) anyone please correct me if i'm wrong!
That almost brought tears to me eyes when he says at 3:04 when he went to his gma funeral the funeral director asked him to leave because his family didn't want him there.
It's a shame that Clay's father didn't live long enough to see the wonderful man and performer that Clay has become. No way was this guy ever a mistake.
gosh i love him i love him i love him sooo much ! so it makes me sad. i can feel his sadness about his dad. cuz my daddy is exactly that kind of guy

If you want to learn more about him, read his book; Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in your life.

Clay is amazing and he is such a strong character and he actually wants to help people. He is a different breed of celebrity.
And he is so cute and has the entire package. I love this style on him. His hair brings out his eyes and his smile. Sexy.

I miss this Clay too. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Clay now, but something was so mysterious and modest about this one.
