Too bad A1 is cancelled.. It was a fun series to watch, especially because F1 is off-season.

The only thing I missed at A1 was higher speeds for the cars.. If they claimed to be "the World cup of nations" then you have to use some advanced high-speed monsters on the grid.

Otherwise it's just another version of GP2.

A good thing about A1GP is that sometimes Sky Sports dont have adverts while the race is on, unlike F1 where you have to bare with adverts about every 15 minutes, good job F1 is going to the BBC next season so no more adverts.

I agree, but it would be difficult as there's not an dutch driver in todays Formula 1. It would be easier to convince F1 to get a race in Netherland otherwise. Besides, the east is the big market for Formula 1 now, and Europe is kind of its way out. And which Dutch tracks meets the F1 standards?
