  • I might just end up getting these.

  • @WhiskeyTangoFuck You can give us a call at 1-800-840-3240 to order over the phone, as well as confirmation on your vehicle year make and model and compatible kit type.

    Thank you,

  • Hey You Guys Should Do An Install Video Of HID's On a 1992 nissan Maxima ??

    let me know???

  • @angelispimp12345 If you know of a Nissan Maxima in the Los Angeles Area we can do a video, but until we find a customer willing to donate their vehicle for the video shoot, we wont have one available. Check by often as we are adding videos every few weeks!

  • can you tell me the exact bulbs/kit you got for this video?

  • @DtoWnSux1 Just give us a call at 1-800-840-3240 for the most up to date info on your vehicle and the compatible HID kits.

  • New guy question. Why does bi-x need to be bolted to the battery.

I put HID on my Vw B4 Passat and remember them going straight into old connection.

Also, I always got static on the FM radio, is that to be expected with these and/or do I need a filter of sorts?

  • @rsfeller Not all HID kits are the same. The Honda Element uses something called a Dual Filament bulb where the low beam and high beam are in the same reflector housing. This type of bulb is converted to HID using a Bi-Xenon bulb and requires you to use a wiring harness that connects to the battery, XenonSupply ballasts come with EMI shielding and in general do not cause EMI interference with your radio.

  • I ordered a bi-xenon kit instead of just a single beam kit by accident. They're saying I need four-bulbs total instead and I would have to order another kit. So, does that mean only one bi-xenon kit comes with the high- and low- beams for one side? And I would have to order another for the other side?

  • @xVxRayJohnathaNxVx Depending on your Element trim level, EX LX etc you might have a different headlight housing. What is your exact model? You can email Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for additional information on your headlight and what you require.

  • beautiful

  • I'm trying to get the kit but the website is down, how long will it be down?

  • @blackguy75 Go ahead and try right now. The website is not down to our knowledge. Please contact us at Sales(at)XenonSupply(dot)com if you continue to have issues connecting to the website.

  • the housing of the h4 bulb, the covered half part goes up or down ?

  • @warr1 The covered portion should be on the bottom as shown in the video. light needs to reflect up so you should be able to look at the bulb as you insert into the headlight housing.

  • your camera is very good. It's better than 80% of the DIY videos for cars in youtube.

  • cool

  • I have a problem so any help can do...I install the bi-xenon hid kit on my 2000 toyota corolla but only one side will light up...I already tested both ballast and bulbs by alternating them and they both work. It only works on the far side away from the battery...I'm guessing the relay is bad..what do you guys think...let me know..

  • @3worldend3 Is this a XenonSupply kit? Please email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for technical support with regard to your HID kit.

  • Do you leave the original headlight connector unplugged? And will this cause a light on the dash?

  • @spartanpanda22 one of your connectors will be unplugged and the other will be used by the harness. This will not cause the dash to throw an error.

  • my battery is in teh trunk of my AMG?

  • @4jiggy1 Your AMG should have a Accessory port in the engine bay that leads from the battery that you can hook up to for the wiring harness. Send us an email with your Vehicle year make and model and we will be able to assist you further with this process. Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

  • I purchased a kit. I installed it just like you showed. The low beam works perfect but when i switch to high beam, the lights shut off completely. when i got back to low beam they turn on. I have a bi xenon kit. I have tried many things but nothing seems to be working. What do you think the problem could be?

  • What's the REAL difference between standard and premium kits? What does premium mean? What about the decoders and capacitors? Do they extend the life of the xenons?

  • @gamesindians1992 Premium kits come with a 5 year extended replacement warranty and in general have a higher build quality as well as life expectancy. the additional componenets means you will have less potential for issues to come up with your installation if you are installing on a car which has not yet been tested by XenonSupply.

  • now this guy know what hes doing............thks.

  • Nice video, although I don't own an element. Informational....

  • In the final headlight adjustments, I noticed there were only one screw on each of the back sides of the headlight housings which i believe are for the vertical movements. Are there horizontal adjustments?

  • @chuchum3 No, there is no horizontal adjustment, just vertical. I believe if you adjust the screws that mount the headlight housing to the chassis you can adjust horizontally.

  • I'm starting a series of Honda Element "DIY" videos, since there isn't a lot on youtube.

Awesome HID install, (the only thing i would say to the guys installing HID first time is wear rubber groves when handling the bulb...oil from your skin will mess up the bulbs when the burn hot...notice one bulb burn dimmer just an FYI)

  • i did this on my 96 jeep grand cherokee with new oem housings and egads!!! its bright but i used 50w not 35w hids and i got 6000k bi xenons

  • One of the best pieces of illustrating the installation of HID; it helped me when I did it on my 02 Civic; 5 Stars

  • Excellent video! Even though i dont drive an Element, this gave me some valuable info. 5*

  • This is great info. I have a 2008 I'm looking to upgrade to HID Xenon's. Where can I get the kit used in the video?
