You guys have to understand, Johnny Carson hosted a TALK SHOW. Not a sell-out fake promotional vehicle for whatever hack movie is out this week. The point of the show was getting to meet and hang out with people. If a celebrity came on, Carson would talk with them like normal people in a relaxed way. It was much more real...and thus much more memorable. Do you really think 20 years from now anyone will be reposting Jay Leno interviewing hack celebrity X this week?
