Chara can definitely play and I'll admit, I have seen him fuck some guys up, but 90% of the fights he gets into end within the first few seconds with Chara throwing the guy to the ice. Makes for some real uninteresting bouts.

Also, He didn't punch May down, he muscled him down. But it wasn't about who won or not, it was important that fight happened. We exploded to 18-5 shots after that fight, so in moral terms, May won the fight.

I've noticed ONE thing when Laraque fights... he's not the one wrestling, it's the OTHERS holding on making sure his right arm doesn't come free. He's a southpaw, so others have no choice but to hold on. That's why when you see him fight Brashear, there's practically no wrestling whatsoever.

He used to prove it all the time, not so much this year, at all, because montreal has noticed hes not worth having in the game. not only does he not dominate fights anymore, but he couldn't put up a point if his life depended on it. Worthless.

Enforcer doesn't have to score goals, it's not his main role. His job is to play physical and to pump up his team with fights. Your argument is worthless.

Maybe not score goals, but he should be able to play a little hockey. Hes a wasted spot on the team, he plays like 4-5 mins in a game if hes lucky cuz he sucks so bad...why not have an enforcer that can also make a difference on the ice and help out his team?

To a Habs fan, I would imagine it would seem so. But if you watch the fight carefully, Laraque hardly landed any punches. He just had the better grip from the start and used it to his advantage. Also, He didn't punch May down, he muscled him down. But it wasn't about who won or not, it was important that fight happened. We exploded to 18-5 shots after that fight, so in moral terms, May won the fight.

I've noticed ONE thing when Laraque fights... he's not the one wrestling, it's the OTHERS holding on making sure his right arm doesn't come free. He's a southpaw, so others have no choice but to hold on. That's why when you see him fight Brashear, there's practically no wrestling whatsoever.
