  • What can I say more than wonderful? OUTSTANDING! vid 5*

  • is this uploaded into Flightsim . com?

  • you should make one on jt8d engines = they have a really cool takeoff sound

  • lol i have like every soundset youve ever made!

  • the engine sound starts sounds like a 767

  • nice video!

  • how do u download sounds

  • hey can a PW4000 go on a 747? yes?

  • @MusicLover11325 That's correct, they can also go on an A330 as well, although they're part of the PW4000 series they are all different engines, but sound quite similar in comparison (to my limited knowledge) to engines by other manufacturers like General Electric and Rolls Royce.

  • @ChainChomp2 I can't tell apart GE CF80 of a 747 and PW 4060

  • @MusicLover11325

It's actually easy to tell them. GE-CF6s (not CF80s) are rather longer but less wide. PW's are wide but shorter. They sound quite similar, but if you listen carefully, the spool up is a little different.

  • @EmadIV Oh sorry I meant CF6-80 cause my keboard is messed up.

  • Thank you very much!! :-)

  • extremely nice sound... especially the spool up part...

is there any chance that this soundpack be uploaded to another site other than simviation? for some reason i can't download from that site...don't know what's wrong or what...

    tnx

  • @xxJinraixx: It might be a problem simviation has at times (particularly if you are downloading more than two files at a time). If you could send me your e-mail via pm, i could send it over.

  • @zedextreme8177 Can you please send me the file? The link is down D:

  • OMG

THIS IS A 6/5!!! (IF THERE IS)

  • Thanks!

  • oh no, actualy, this can be 100/5

  • wow VERY impressed...sounds indentical. If you could make the IAE V2500s like you made this...it would be awesome. So far ive just made my own because i dont like anyone elses, including TSS

  • Incredible job dude. Sounds Amazing

  • havent found any better PW4098 like yours ;) like that beautiful spool-up... gonna be very satisfied if you will made rr trent 700 (for A330s) -this engine has the best spool-up vere :) like a song :)

  • Thanks! I've had an old Trent 700 project going on. It sounds great even now, but still needs some brushing up before it's ready.

  • Very nice man!!! Love your soundpacks!!!

Reminds me the first time I was on a 777.

    : )

  • oh yeah..here's one more..this one is takeoff...asiana 772er..that whine or burp sound it very clear...

    watch?v=rWGWfN-JIcw

  • i've downloaded your PW4000 soundpack and it work wonders...especially during takeoff...your soundpack is as real as it gets...btw, if you do get a chance to do an updated PW4000 soundpack...you think you could try to include that whine when the reversers kick in? :P

  • @clarkyjustin yeah, whis is "spool-up" sound you can hear clear if you will download tha pw4090 version from this Man

  • and again here.

    watch?v=Z35d5bZlKYU

  • I noticed the whine, pretty unusual:)

  • hey zed listen to the thrust reversers on this oz777er

    watch?v=aj9HCXqO5I4

  • Is there any B777 With PW090 Engine??

  • Many 777s now do, there isn't much difference in the exterior though.

  • quick question...what sound file do i need to download if i want to hear that sound you hear at 3:47...the PW4090 or the 4000?

  • The second link in the description

  • Or PW4000 to be precise:D

  • downloading this for sure. Really like the full power sound :)

  • Finally some one made a sound set that captures the burp at power up and the growl at full power, thanks for making it.

  • what version do you this is the most real?

  • Both of them are realistic, but are of different engines that sound different.

I love the PW4077/4084/4098 sounds more though:)

  • kl il download that 1 then .loool is that the second link?

  • yup

  • VERY well done with the 777 PW4090 sounds! But the 747/767 PW4000 should sound more like the General Electric CF6-80s when spooling up and at full throttle!

I make sounds for FS2004 as well I have one preview on my channel of the A320 CFM56!

    Cheers! :)

  • Thanks!

Actually, the two sounds here are both for the 777, and I have a separate version for the 747 (which I'm currently working on).

Nice job on your CFM soundpack! I really like it. I will also be uploading a CFM soundpack soon, but it will be for the A340.

    Cheers!

  • No problem!

Oh I thought the other plane in the video was a 767, my bad!

Thanks, the A340 CFM56 is basically the same as the A320 CFM56 except with a slightly lower pitch and louder more raspy growling noise at full throttle! I'm working on one myself!

  • I see.

Good luck with your A340 Soundpack!

  • watch?v=bux0e9wei4M

Fast forward to 2:20 for a good spool-up sound on this video. The engine here is a PW4084.

  • Yeah that sounds just like your soundpack in the video! Awesome!

I love the sounds of the PW4084, sounds similar to the GE90!

  • Yep, but the 747 GE-CF6-80s have more of a rattling sound compared to the PW4062. The 4062 has more of a quiet rattle with more of a "winded" sound.

  • i noticed that the external start-up sound is the same as RR engine but still very realistic sound at spool-up 5/5

  • Yes, that's true. Problem is that I couldn't find any startup sounds for the PW4000, so I had to make a compromise.
