I've heard great drummers miss a lot of beats at that tempo, keep working on grooving at slower tempos for long runs like 5 minutes straight. The endurance training helps make your fast stuff more precise.

ya he's playing 125 bpm 32nd notes technically, but it's the same speed than 250 bpm in 16th notes. The only difference is the hands. in 16th notes, the timing is 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4. In 32nd notes (like in this vid), it is 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8

Keep on with the metronome. Try at 270bpm (even it sounds like shit...) and then go back to 250bpm, see what happens.;-)
