I only brought my digital camera and decided to take a few videos as well. They post signs at the venue not to bring cameras in, but do not search for them at the gate. I believe almost everyone there had some sort of digital camera with them, be it a cell phone or actual camera.
I think for the price I paid, and waiting for 2 hours at the fox in St Louis, they could have at least signed a few autograghs. They didn't even wave at the fans that were only a few feet away....a little video isn't too much to ask for 2 performers who can't take time out to at least wave.
Not trying to be a jerk that shows off but Robert was especially nice at the MSG show i was in the second section (not row) and when i waved as high as i could he waved back
I've no clue, but tickets for this show weren't really that expensive. I believe front row at this one was cheaper than at the average Faith Hill/Tim McGraw show.
Well, if you bought them right when they went on sale, I think the most expensive ones were about $78, excluding convenience charges. If you bought them secondhand from a ticket broker, they were waaaay more than that. For me, it's more like "6 weeks of only eating in the university cafeteria for 3 hours of being close to Alison Krauss," in which case, I'm okay with that. XD I will say though, that if Robert were in it for the money, he'd have done the Led Zep tour.
I am sure everyone in their band is getting a fair bit of money for the tour, however...I don't think Robert Plant and Allison Krauss are doing this for money (or T-Bone). I think they are having a blast, which is great to see.
As far as ticket prices, we had box seats they were 85.50 before service charges. I think that's pretty fair given that people like Madonna are charging upwards of 300.00 which I find insane.
No, she was mostly just scared that it was gonna hit her fiddle, lol. You could tell when the beach ball first started floating around that she thought it was kind of awesome, though. That's never happened at one of her shows before. XD
BTW, that's me handing her the flowers at the very end. ^_^
She probably plays a vintage instrument worth 40 or 50 thou.
