The subscription is not counted by the hours you play, only in Korea. In the US you pay for the monthly time and it won't matter if you play at all, the time will expire at the end of the monthly subscription.

In Korea, you CAN buy hour cards which only let you play a certain amount of hours, They released this because it might be handy or w/e but mainly because China has that internet cap limit and your not allowed to play, that's why they released it. This game was made by Korea so they would probably have it. In the USA you don't, you just have a subscription, but they might later on bring out those cards aswell.

Well even though its 15 a month, you can pay in a package for instance a 3 month package like I did, they also lowered the cost by 3-4 dollars, so i only paied 33.34 instead of $45. Maybe with this info you might change your mind, it truly is a game worth paying for ^.^

Although a privite would be nice.. it isnt as good as the real thing. In a private server.. its really run by donaters and the PVP will be very unfair when a normal player vs. a donator... playing pservers of Lineage, Ragnarok and WoW taught me that. Atleast in the real game, everyon has the same advantage and can get the same items if they desire.

My girlfriend and I are big WoW fans, playing since Molten Core, all the way through T8 Ulduar. We've been serious raiders for 80% of our WoW-careers, and avid MMO fans. On the flip side, I've been a part of several MMO betas and early releases, including AoC, WHO, LotrO, and now Aion. I can unbiasedly say I wish this game the best. I hope those who play it, enjoy it, and I hope WoW continues it's success into Cata. In the end, more MMOs benefits us all. Here's to the future of MMOs, cya there.

Every game has features that will be called into question as similar to another previously released game. New WoW features in BC/Wrath including vanilla are not exempt. In fact there is very little Wow has presented its religious followers along the line of original ideas other than the storyline content. The UI isn't even unique in any way. NWN was using the base ui WoW setup years before Blizzard launched it's first servers. Make a list (new/used) you will find a far heavier used list for wow

Anyone that calls any new game a copy of another needs to understand the "mold" for success and playability. GUI will eventually be universal in the way they represent us with information. You are always going to have bars and maps. Scrolling combat text will be in a color that most "Human" eyeballs find easy to read. ors will sound alot alike from one game to another. The numbers 1-0 on a KB will be used as action bars, and wasd is going to be your extended virtual limbs for years to come.

Any WoW gamer that says that this game will end up like AOC, didn't play wow in 2004-2005. It was just as horrible as AOC in the beginning, and in some ways worse. Blizzard was just weeding out the old diablo servers and the release of BC coincided with that upgrade. Now a new game engine with more realistic graphics and ideas thinking outside the bun comes along and the basement dwelling WOWshipers want a witch hunt. Change is inevitable. Wow is UPDATING OLD content for Cataclysm. I want new.

Yea, some people are diehard wow fans and will keep playing wow long after the novelty has worn off. Even when better games become available, both in graphics and stability, Wow is just the game people have lost jobs, wives, girlfriends, family, houses and cars too, that last sentimental thread of ownership remains 10 discs and an online G.i.r.l. (Guy. In. Real. Life.) There are alot better games than Wow, and more are on the way.

The height gap is ridiculously stupid, even thought you see all of the characters look really nice in comparison at 0:45 in actual game lots of idiots make tiny midgets that would be hardly up to your waist. This makes any kind of movie making/machinima very very hard, especially when some retards make their characters with incredibly disproportionate head size in comparison to the body. I am planning to film machinima in this game but they really have to narrow down the gap in max/min height.

Ah hell, i'm on my 8th L80 with 25 Uld & 25 toc epics. I level a toon all the time. I think i'll start this, with the experience of hard grinds to cap a level, how hard could it really be? Sure does look alot better than cartoony WoW, besides blizzard is just pushing content through a meatgrinder now, no more care about what players want other than just another dungeon ilevel epics. Put away your epeen and enjoy real graphics the way games should be seen.

Very well said. WoW had a "graphics update" but they like filtered the sprites in the game and it still looks pretty generic. Luckily this game uses the Crytek Engine, the same one used in Crysis.

Wrong it uses a heavily modded CryEngine 2. Keyword is heavily modded. The first Cryengine would have been to buggy for this game which is why they went with a more solid CryEngine 2.

If your computer can handle Age of Conan it can handle this game no problem. The graphics look good but I can tell already they're not cutting edge. If they were the game would trickle into the market from people all having to upgrade their computers. Plus how great can the graphics really be? The game's been released for almost a year so unless NCSoft is planning on massively upgrading the graphics for the US release you shouldnt have much to worry about.
