  • LOL Now thats what I call a true sleeper. I feel sorry for all the fools that tried to race that fine 69! I guess you need a roll cage in the car if you want to run on the track? (I hope you leave it just like she is)

A+ that is by far the sweetest 69 Firebird I have ever seen.

  • I was wondering what heads you are using?

  • nice car

  • What is rear gearing?

  • oh my god how did you make it soo fast all i have to say is WOW p.s you got the greatest videos on yer chanel i got a 1967 pontiac GTO 400 with a th400 and 3.55 rear needs motor done over got blow by p.s do you have aluminum heads whats yer secret to beeing so fast?

  • What kind of exhaust do you have?

  • very sharp & impressive ride! I've got a 69 myself

    -Carm

  • Thanks! Rear leafs were clamped forward of the axle, and front sway bar was removed. Only lays down 1.72-1.75 60 ft. times due to the mild 2400 stall converter. With a 3000 stall, probably would have 60 ft. in the 1.60-1.65 range, and run 11.50's.

  • @MaccaIsntDead my 65 lemans has the same exact build overall as your ride with the exeption on the carb(850 holley hp) never been to the track yet but its strong! Just to ugly to go yet but it will get there :) PONCO POWER FOREVER!

  • @MaccaIsntDead what heads did you use.........i used 670 heads on mine with thick cometic head gaskets

  • man, that thing sure leaves hard. I'm getting ready to clamp my springs due to ridiculous wheel hop (71 Formula).

  • Thanks gtobobcat. Cam is a Comp Cams 305H, .525/.525 lift, with 1.5 rockers.

  • nice bird. What cam are you running?
