i am a huge fan and have all the shows but sadly this film disapointed me (just like the 1st one) the 90's where the peak for the x-files. God i still love watching them now. if cc could get back to writing the original set up that would be awsome. the stats reflect the film and i hate posting this as it feels sac-reg. instead of a movie y dont the do special one of TV shows, there can be more emphasis on the story and less on trying to churn out a big blockbuster thriller

The biggest thing that the "powers that be" didn't get was that we wanted something to relate with the X-files. This being so isolated was a grave disappoint. I've watched ten's of David's interviews and they are all rote. I wondered how many he was on contract to do. He seems as bored as this in all of them. At the preview I noticed he moved her from one person to another like "let's get this one over and move on." Go watch it for yourself. There will be no third one as the stats were so bad.

psh, i dont know why people keep saying "no, dont make another movie it sucks!!" because they obviously haven't watched it enough to understand the fucking storyline of the fucking show! i mean seriously!! this was suppose to be 6 YEARS LATER! okay, Mulder left the FBI back when the series was still playing, so obviously he wouldn't still be an agent. and everyone pretty much knew that Scully was going to leave as well & be what she originally wanted. SO GET OVER YOUSELVES & go see a diff movie!

I agree that the next movie should have more of either an alien plot or Mulder or Scully in serious trouble. But what I would love is to see them bring William back in the next movie. If they do another in 5 years or so, then William would be around 12 years old, which is old enough of a child to start asking alot of questions..... like maybe about his parents.

The movie was SOOO good but not typical (in my opinion). This movie was in a totally different direction than anything I've seen on the show. A lot of people didn't like it, but I thought it was very smart.
