my friend has a 2005 corolla s same as this and only intake exhaust lowerd and anew cutch and flywheel and his shit is fast for what it is im a teggy guy but he beats my 93 ls and my friends gsr like there geo metro's and his sounds better too

that is a given . The xrs has the GTS, 2zzge motor. Bench tested, that motor has the best flowing head in its class...XRS is a great car!

Well, considering the LS block can handle roughly 300WHP stock, I think it's much stronger then the Toyota Model. Not to mention the XRS Matrix and Corolla had a "dumbed" down engine compared to the Celica. All the XRS cars are slow. Comparing an XRS (toyota's highest tuned sports car) to a run of the mill teg isn't fair. Lets see a 2ZZ-GE line up against a K20A.

You are right. XRS should have destroyed it even badly. Considering the mods of the two cars, there is a 50 HP difference between the cars and much better gearing for the 6 speed on the 2ZZ-GE.
