They may not be quicker in the city centre but they definitely are close to Bury.

And unlike busses they can be coupled together adding extra capacity quicker than could be done by two busses in traffic.

Also there is the fact these stand out more than a Stagecoach double decker would in any city, meaning more public awareness of the services provided.

@nightw4tchman fair points you made, i didnt think of it like that. apart from the public awareness bit. the one i went on had to do an emergency stop when some woman with a push chair just walked out in front of us. nice to know they can stop quick. we didnt hit her, and the driver blew his whistle at her. i think she shit herself.

@johna6string That does happen a fair bit in the city centre, why they're not building the second city centre crossing below ground so they can have 50mph amazes me. Nice video though!
