I'm not sure if I should ask you here or on your blog, but about how much is the ratio of thinner and the paint itself when you painted the wheels? I'm looking forward to buying one of those GTRs aswell but same as you I was unhappy that they didn't have the premium edition for the 1:18 series so I would want to paint them on my own aswell. I hope you can see this and I'll be waiting for your reply!
@mynameisthepass Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I used the paint straight off the bottles (Tamiya black, Tamiya gunmetal) without mixing, finished with a coat of Tamiya Clear. All acrylic paints. Hope this helps! :)
@TheoDR Ahh Thanks! I thought you'd never reply so I was just thinking of not mixing anything. But I still haven't started buying the paint and car for this. lol
Thanks kebbin! Didn't remove the wheels. They were painted with a paintbrush. Tools used were sharp pointed toothpicks (to move the paint off the Nissan logo) and lots of patience. LOL
they look like toys...

Really good pictures. The repainted ones turned out very nice. Did you have to paint the wheels several times if I may ask?

@gunnerkylling Hi! Yup, had to paint them quite a few times, especially when the finish wasn't as nice as I'd like.
