What memories this brings. Was an accidental "pioneer" flying Quicksilvers 1979-81. All around Southeast Florida. Weight shift control + unreliable Yamaha KT-100S go-cart motors that failed at 20-25 hrs (or sooner). Managed to survive. Some did not. Here's a toast to those who perished proving that those engines sucked (and that Ultralights are NOT acrobatic aircraft)...
