i'm actually trying to get a desert town but no matter how much i run i just can't get rid of enough grass even if i invite friends over and they run alot... what am i doing wrong?

Still got trees and flowers? I think those cause it to grow back. Otherwise its just going to take some more time and patience.

I hear that visitors cannot ruin your grass. So if you have visitors a lot that might be slowing your progress.

I know, that's the only sucky part. Catch is, I don't think you can get snow furniture without the grass being there, since dirt melts the snowballs.

Plant many many flowers and only walk on certain path ways and it should come back. Or you could time travel, though I hate time traveling myself!

Jeez. My cousin's grass sucks ass but he doesn't care lol.

you can grow your grass back in some areas by planting flowers or trees.

I just used that name for that pattern because it was temporary. I have train track patterns now.

my grass is even worse than yours, almost desert in some areas, so I created some designs for paths, and now my town is a bit more beautiful. Plus, the flowers help to make it a little more colorful

if u have homebrew theres a hack that will restore ur grass... blah, if u dont have homebrew though, u should really consider artifical grass... GOOD LUCK!

i tried to walk on paths but then whats the point in having grass if you cant go on it, try to get artificial grass (got mine buy giving the walrus a fish)

We do have exceptions though for flower planting/collecting, fishing, bug catching, etc.

We have a designated area for fruits too. The paths are more for repetitive travels to Nook's for example.

Thanks for the heads up on the artificial grass though! I'll keep it in mind if I decide I need it later. :)

Yeah its not bad yet, though it still drives me insane. My grass has actually gotten worse since I made some paths...lol.
