Wow, are you lucky. :D I have made it a point to see UP 6936 in person before i die or before she gets retired, whichever comes first. The engines sound just like the 645's in the SD40-2; are they the same PMs?

Yup, the Centennial's got two 645's. Not sure if they are exactly the same as SD40-2's and GP40's, but they sound very similar, with a bit more bass.

The Nathan M5 horn series dates way back to the 1950s. Of course there have been minor updates, including the way horns are cast and tuned. The Nathan K series horns were the "next generation", with the K5LA being the most popular and Nathan's biggest seller. The K3HL and K5HL don't sound bad to me at all. IMHO, it's nice to hear the variety.
