How come nobody clicks on custom in MPEG-2 and sets the Bitrate to 10,000Kbs? High Quality DVD is only at 6,000Kbs.

because i think, above a certain amount the quality doesn't really improve anymore, the file size just becomes huge.

true, but i figured out that if you use a lossless codec the quality FAR surpasses MPEG-2 quality. Yes the file size is large, but quality is perfect. After that just compress the avi file to MPEG-4 and there you go!! But if you like a simple/easy to use program that gives you great quality, studio is the way to go.

When you pull the black bars down to give it a widescreen look at (2:00) does it distort the video or does it just pull the bars over the footage? Also, any suggestions for a "Film Look" maybe overlay or something? Thanks!

When i scale or crop on pinnacle studio the big sign showing the symbol and says pinnacle appears on the video and i dont know how to make it go away
