The greatest worship God hears is in the hearts of his people, and not in the well done mix of musical talent. I am a sound tec and I can over the years see what a good system and singers can do to worship. but it never compares to the real presence that I have witnessed with or without great talent. Lets keep up the excelence, but remember that the heart of God is for his people to worship him in simplicity, respect, fear, and love. This one thing I have come to know as a sound tec.

Pray and ask Jesus into your heart and to forgive you for anything you have done. Your salvation is a must to go to heaven. There will be many people saved and others that don't care to be. I don't know about anyone else but I would rather go to heaven and be with Jesus. How about you?

When you get in your car and drive, you have faith that the guy in the oncomming lane isn't drunk and isn't going to kill you. When you take a job you have faith that you won't get fired. If you get married you have faith you won't be betrayed. The examples are endless, and truth intrudes regardless of our indifference.

He was probably very wise too, in my opinion religion existed to keep some of us under control and it did it's job quite well. The particular teaching that Jesus gave was very effective at this, but over time was censored, misinterpreted, and added too. In my opinion, we are looking at many religions the wrong way.
I as a Christian but trained in both Natural Sciences (Diploma in Horticulture) and Social Sciences (BSc Business focusing on Sociology, Social Psychology and Economics) do agree with you that religious doctrine may hinder rational thinking. We have seen how Christian Scientists were persecuted.
However, the real cause is not religion but 'Informational Social Influence' and 'Normative Social Influence' which can be seen in any social groups even among Atheists Activists.

If Jesus was GOD, then why in Mark 12:29 Jesus said "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." The words "our God" indicate that Jesus had a higher God over him, a stronger God than him. Jesus didn't say "Your God". He said "our God" which includes Jesus as the creation of GOD.
If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 20:17 Jesus said I ascend to my God and your God? This tells us that we and Jesus have a common GOD.

By appealing to logic you are actually using Biblical concepts in order for you to reason against the God of the Bible. I personally think I am part of nature and cosmos, which I find fascinating and magic enough. But if one pretends things to exist which can't be perceived, there the difficulties begin. @StSteveofthejobs I'd agree with that up to a point, and that point is if you look closely you'll see most of our lives is based on faith, and much of it has no emotion attached. When you get in your car and drive, you have faith that the guy in the oncomming lane isn't drunk and isn't going to kill you. When you take a job you have faith that you won't get fired. If you get married you have faith you won't be betrayed. The examples are endless, and truth intrudes regardless of our indifference.

@StSteveofthejobs I here too am an atheist, but I feel your argument is missing some detail. Jesus was most likely a real man. He was probably very wise too, in my opinion religion existed to keep some of us under control and it did it's job quite well. The particular teaching that Jesus gave was very effective at this, but over time was censored, misinterpreted, and added too. In my opinion, we are looking at many religions the wrong way.

I as a Christian but trained in both Natural Sciences (Diploma in Horticulture) and Social Sciences (BSc Business focusing on Sociology, Social Psychology and Economics) do agree with you that religious doctrine may hinder rational thinking. We have seen how Christian Scientists were persecuted.
However, the real cause is not religion but 'Informational Social Influence' and 'Normative Social Influence' which can be seen in any social groups even among Atheists Activists.

Look at other Christian groups or singers, they wear different styles of clothes as well. so u cant judge a group by what they wear but how they praise God

@CatherineMengue Sorry but I have to disagree. The homeless in France must dress extremely well. Just look in the days of Jesus when He roamed this earth, he picked basically homeless folk to follow Him and those homeless people (Disciples) wrote the word (God inspired) of the New Testimony.
If I am for God and look like a homeless person, then so be it. Rather homeless looking in Heaven that well dressed in hell.

I am a former drug addict lived on the streets in sao paulo 11 years and 16 years was on drugs but God had mercy in my life, I am now a new creation in the person of Jesus Christ blessed ... I lost my mother with 5 to 6 years and 2 brothers and a sister who looked after me and when I was 8 years after losing my father died all these, I'm an aunt taking care of me, so I got into drugs but God changed my new creature life today ...
