@LilFrost1818 Nice! Do you drive one of these trucks or are you in an Automated vehicle? What kinds of trucks do Parks and Sons operate? Do they only use rear loaders for underground service or do you guys ever run Front Loaders with carry cans or a Manual Side Loader? I know they make things to attach the camera to a hard hat. You could even use electrical tape to attach your camera on the trucks tailgate. A user on here (rempledisposal) does that and it turns out nice.
This is definitely an interesting form of waste collection. If only the truck had a bin lifter on it, no need to manually empty the container. Wicked video.
@tharealsteven Yeah, I thought it was really interesting. If it had a lifter on it, I doubt they would use it because it would just slow them down. I think this area will always be manual, this is so much faster than an ASL, I almost think there was a 4th guy on the crew because every so often (not on camera) there would be a gigantic trash bag in front of cul-de-sacs like he emptied all the cans into a bagged red bin and then left the bag by the house, so the truck doesn't have to go in it.
Definitely unique, never seen this before. At first I was like WTF is underground mean I thought it was like literally UNDER the ground lol but the trash is not the truck lmao. Nice footage, this is really different. Looks like truck 6 to me. Oh and HOLY FUCK these guys are FUCKING fast!
@legodude24652 I know! I have NEVER seen ANYTHING like that before, at all. I first spotted the crew by seeing one of the guys running full speed down the road. At first I thought he was getting like chased by a crazy person with a gun or something, then I thought the truck forgot him or something. But nooopeeeee, that's just how they roll. I mean, automated wouldn't even make sense here. Too bad other places didn't realize that with the right crew, manual would be soo much faster. Quick ques...
@garbageboycd (continued) tion, I see a Parks and Sons Heil Retriever the other day on the freeway. Do you know anything about that? I was thinking it might do recycling in Sun City because, being a 55+ community, I would imagine there wouldn't be a lot of recycling their. Or they might use it on trash for gated Corte Bella and Arizona Traditions (gated communites) and empty into this truck as a mother truck.
@RainbowDisposal I know! I love the last clip when they each run to take a different street. We passed a couple residents with a rear load dumpster, too bad they didn't stop there to empty it...There are 20 gallon contains underground which they dump into those huge red barrels, which are tossed in the back of the truck and the wheels are hung in the tailgate. The drivers grey can get hung on the side of the truck.
@lawnboy1010 I'll try, city wide recycling is on Wednesday and I don't know if I can get out there tomorrow. We're leaving for California Monday, so expect some SoCal trucks!
@r6man2 Thanks, it was really cool to watch in person. I'll try to get more/better footage soon. Next week I'm going to SoCal and I'll try to get some CNG F7000s.....
@JaccobDalton Check out their website. In Arizona Traditions, Corte Bella, Happy Trails, Sun City, Sun City Grand, and Sun City West, they have manual underground trash and manual recycling in a customer-provided container. In Agua Fria Ranches, Citrus Point, Country Meadows, Cross River, Glendale, Litchfield Park (east of Litchfield Rd.), and Peoria they provide automated recycling and garbage.
@CurottoCanMaster82 Thanks. Yeah, I'm gonna try to get a LOT more footage pretty soon. I had a hard time keeping up with them...They could do a whole street in under 3 minutes. So, when I had like a minute of footage, the truck was already going to the next street where the 3rd crew member had already done half of.
Shit I Work There to LOL Seem Cool Someone is Filmin they took my idea but i can film and run at the same time or can i?

Great footage! Does Parks and Sons have automated recycling? I know they have 2 Pendpac ASLs and an unknown amount of AutoReaches.
