  • Guess that means his boy is popping his tires like he said. Hey Parrish, you should pre-load torque converter and build boost before the tree runs green. You could have run 9's all day if you didn't wait for the tree to green then step on the gas. Probably an old vid so you figured it out by now. I dig your truck man, definitely sleeper until they you step on the go pedal, trucks real quiet.

  • Is your guys goal to run 9s on street tires... cause im pretty sure you guys could get down into the low 9s if you had some slicks.

It just doesn't make any since to me and i keep asking myself why don't you guys throw some better tires on this truck. So maybe you can enlighten me.

  • awesome for a truck that could of pulled another car to the track.

  • it is a 4wd truck he does the burnout in 2wd then puts it in 4wd for the run notice the drag radials on the front?

  • that truck has ran on the streets of kc no trailer needed

  • Comment removed

  • parish sold this truck..so no race for u...also notice this vid was uploaded in 2007

  • how do you know he sold his truck?

  • You know when your lighting up all 4 tires you have enough power... Or you need more traction =P

  • It's a 2wd truck though

  • nice, anyone know the '60 ft that parish typically got on this truck

  • 1.6s i think.

  • killer truck, i wish my sierra could do that...

  • u got any vids of ur car ??

  • good video showes a lot of comparison all same day and I have to say kicken ass truck

  • its a street truck as it backs of a trailer being towed by another truck lol.

  • slicks and maybe some suspension tweaks..9s for sure! badass truck

  • so close

  • i've watched almost all your vids, and i all i can say is that truck is fuckin sick!

  • ive seen videos of this truck all over the internet and everytime i see them, im amazed how a full bobied truck like this can be so freakin quick.

  • FULL TITTIES!!

  • do people really realize how fast 10 and 9 sec is Evan 12 sec is fast but some people are just ignorant. love all of your videos man sweet truck

  • Nice, putting together a twin turbo small block myself.

  • yo thats soft thats the 8th mile

  • No you need to get your eyes checked or go to a drag strip at least once. It's not soft, its running the quarter mile not the 8th, and it broke into the 9's after this video.

  • makes you wonder what he could have done on slicks doesn't it ?

  • 10.11 man that was close i miss this trucks videos

  • Yeah me too, They're still making videos with Parish's old truck, but so far they're not as good as the 1320 vids.

  • Not my truck, but Parish did break into the 9's a while back. I'm still trying to find video of it though.

  • man that is a slow dragster(rail)

  • name of the song...?

  • No clue, Email '1320video' on my friends list. They made the video.

  • "Jaded" by Soil

  • wow, that last run was perfect, lauched right on the 3rd light, cant get any better than that as far as reaction time

  • sounds like hes got a closed exhaust an open dp would work wonders.

  • He's running a cut-out in the exhaust. Watch the video I have of him running the GSX.

  • Good try boys. any nitro or no ?

  • These runs are on his twin turbo setup and I'm not sure if he was spraying or not. He used to spray with his single turbo setup, that I do know.

  • I'm unsure of how the front diff holds up for him, but I know for a while he was breaking rearends quite often. I think he might have finally put a diesel rearend in it, either that or found something he couldn't break.

  • I'm not sure, might wanna shoot 1320video an email on here and ask them, they made the video. Just check my friends list.

  • Well said.

  • Nahh he likes his gas engines, and the tires he's trying to stay away from slicks to remain "street legal". But I would like to see it make a good run on slicks.

  • I'm not sure, I haven't seen any dyno numbers from the new setup yet.

  • if you put a 24's wheels in your truck the truck can race good or the truck lose speed for the size of the wheels thanks p.d your truck is awesome men

  • 24's are not for racing. Whatever size he has on there is working pretty good so far.

  • Need a new driver.

  • He can drive the Truck just fine jackass, can you keep over a 1,000 horsepower and 1,000 lbs of torque to the wheels under control ? He can.

  • 1:28 spun like crazy. Spun again at 4:44. 7:30 was the best launch, but he still spun. They either need to get some better DRs or get there driver some more track time with the truck. It's not only keeping it under control. You have to be able to get down the track too.

  • dude i love that truck

    * you should post some new videos of you 2 street racing in that dream truck*

  • i love that blue truck...Which is the name of the song or group?

  • Love the truck.... Its funny when you think about how many chevy trucks there are that could be running in the low 12s high 11s with a turbo. Keep to the street style setup and stay away from those slicks.

  • Im A GMC Lover too guys but if he wants to keep the stock look and no slicks, lets ask how reliable is it from day to day.

  • The Truck is very reliable, it isn't some stock honda civic with a Turbo pushing 15 psi. It's a built 408ci LS1, AFR heads, mega-squirt fuel managment, built 4l80E Tranny, heavyduty Transfer case. He doesn't break stuff very often. It makes long distance trips quite frequently.

  • He should run some M/T ET street radials, i bet he'll get into the 9's, and they're street legal radial tires

  • the mythbusters did a thing on aerodynamics of pickup truck with the back thingy up, and with it down, they said it was better for the thing to be put up... :p

  • lol i remember that one! gud point sumone show the truck guy that episode lol maybe then hell get 9's

  • Didn't the "Net" tailgate do best on that ?

  • nope i remember it saying like with the thing up, it creates a vortex? then the air from the roof that flows towards the back doesnt create turblance? or or creates less drag? :p try it! heheh what you have to loose? hehe blame mythbusters if it wont work hahaha :p

  • the point is its a street truck meaning you have no mods like slicks or anything. street means street legal not well street legal sometimes but only when i want.

  • So get some nitto 555 cheater slicks

  • he dosent want slicks its ment to look stock

  • he can take them off if he wants lol

  • A set of slicks would probably get him there.
