@jko1992 Love it! I saw him preform in concert in Portland, OR and it was great. You could tell it was his first tour off of the album though and he was even saying that. But the album is great. It is like a mix of his electronic and classical with such a wonderful array of sounds that keep my ears busy throughout the entire album. Love this song too! Thanks for sharing! I hope these two put out some new stuff soon! =]
@jko1992 i thought it was pretty excellent. it took time to completely swallow, but once you get over the fact that it is not meant to be another michigan or illinois you find out that it is a work of art on the same level of those
@jko1992 it takes a few listens to get accustomed, but once you 'get it' it's pretty amazing. the quality of the album is easily on-par with everything else sufjan's made, and the epic-ness of his music is still there. lyrically i was expecting more at first but i read in an interview that he'd purposely cast off his previous conceptually-heavy style for a more simple and raw and unfiltered set of lyrics.
@bonjourvivian Just gave this another listen; I'm almost positive he's the one harmonizing with Vito first verse, and you can hear him in the chorus too.
@saldivar182 I agree fully! I'm agnostic myself.... but.. no matter what you believe you can not deny music that makes you feel good... this is one of those rare groups that does just that ^__^
I HEAR YOU, SUFJAN. YOU CAN'T HIDE.

@disconnectxthedots Same here brother, good music moves me.
Maybe if this was the message more people took out of the bible instead of things that are divisive and hateful, we'd all be a bit better off.
