I love the innovation of quickly skipping to the end of penned lines while continuing to speak, instead of pausing the speaking while writing. This may be the greatest step in didactic videos since Khan.
@bayeslaplacejaynes I disagree, It may be a visionary step, but the execution is far from perfect... It should not pop up but fade in or so. Also, the hand is distracting, Khan manages that better.
Sal Khan does what works best for middle school kids who have hard time grasping the topic and the writing breaks give them time to digest it... BTW, I saw here a video from a MIT lecturer, who explained this is one of the reasons for writing on board instead of showing slides.
@juraadmobile I like the ability to point with the pen, and paper + ink is easier to look at than black background + bright colors, for me.
But I do find the hand blocking 1/4 to 1/2 the screen almost all the time very distracting; it might be nice if they'd make it 90% transparent except the pen tip.
Certainly still room for improvement, but I like it a lot.
AI as a uncertainty management system? Very thought provoking concept.
