u have an limit ammo gun n your squad team n a very big map crawling with enemies with an objectives

that require more brainworks than pulling a trigger cuz if u play it stupid your whole squad with die. enemies can flank u from behind and there is no blocking path like COD. some of the gamers hate it cuz they want action scene, but in other ways

some like this game cuz it hard, and require BrainsWork! all action needs good decision!

I just hate how people compare OFP and ArmA to a game like Call of Duty. It's like comparing cats and dogs - both have their own downsides.

If you prefer more action-based and simple tactics then you should go with Call of Duty. On the other hand if you prefer large scale battles and rather complex tactics, Operation Flashpoint is the game for you.

You pretty darn forgotten that some guys got graphic card exceeded what all present consoles capable off. I play it at 83.9 maximum fps with all high setting. PS3 maximum is 45.2 fps while xbox360 is 37.9 fps. Lol

I say get this game for the PC if you can - if its anything like Cold War Crysis or Resistance then they'l be loads of keyboard commands for ordering your squad and things about. They'l prob have all this through menus on a pad which will be annoying and slow.  Besides i still think that FPS's are much better on the PC, i find them faster and the controls easier.

I cant wait for this game to come out, OF was one of my favourite games and im over-joyed that there's another one from Codemasters

Sad thing is they pretty much took out all the good features from the original OPF and made it play more like BF2 with a few realistic features then in all there wisdom they decreased the amount of people in multilayer say good by to combined arms missions, what a waste of such a big island when your only going to be using a small piece of it. Maybe if this was a PC only game they would have stuck to the original OPF formula but they just want money yet again.

id say its up to youre feel. ps3=controller pc=keyboard. they are both for free online. theres always a friends issue too. the way they present it is a multiplayer feel so also think about who you would like to play with. ps3 is good in my opinion, but just choose the more casual and comfortable system

It wont be easier to play on the PS3. Both controls will take time to get used to, but PC wont be hard. It's almost impossible for my PC to get a virus. I have an Anti-Virus program from Germany made by the German military. Know civilian would have the brains capable to send me a virus.

I bought my pc if in us dollar is 600 and play at a very high fps. Resident Evil 5 max 83.7 fps, Operation flashpoint max 83.9 fps. Beside, I remember that Xbox360 can't play crysis, while I can play at max 54.3 fps. Still laughing?

There actually a program call Frap to show how much frame rate you get in the PC. Xbox 360 fps is seen through the TV screen and can be view through Sony H580 HD screen with fps button, my cousin have such TV and both Xbox 360 & PS3. He play the Gears of War 2 online and drop from 45.6 to 23.9 fps somepoint due to the online lag. Malaysia line sucks when comes to high performance online gaming. Oh, thanks for you compliment. I dont know why people rival this too arma 2. They are 2 different games.

Flashpoint 2 is aimed more to console players, and therefor is biased towards the arcade style of gameplay, and is more action orientated.

Arma 2 is aimed at hardcore simulation fans on PC, so your looking at mainly adults and pc enthusiasts who take the game quite seriously. Arma 2 is much more strategy based, and requires much more time.

Arma 2 is amazing, and im sure ofp2 will be great. But they dont compare!

consoles gaming has just sucked in recent years, old school consoles are funner... either stick with the classics or go with PC IMO. PC's generally gives you more options of what and how to play, and typically they can actually have better graphics then that of a console... with a PC you can tweek it just how you like where as a console is... just a console.
