"BURN THE WITCH FOR HER DESIRE TO DEFY GOD'S LAWS!"

"Let's perform party tricks for the little ones! =D"
anyways? I will admit, I AM glad you're not one of the hateful asses that clog society, and I'm glad SOME people remember that the Bible tells you to love your neighbor as you would yourself, and that violence is always wrong. But, I will always stand against the spread of religion, despite the good that it brings, BECAUSE of the evil that it also brings.
This is a good way to spread the message of Christ to the young. As a young boy, Saint John Bosco performed magic to entertain fellow youth and at the same time encourage them to turn away from youthful temptations. Magic made him "cooler" than the bad guys so he gained friends. Btw, got this from wikipedia: "Gospel magic is the use of otherwise standard stage magic tricks and illusions to promote Christian messages. Gospel Magic does not claim to invoke spirits or paranormal powers."
Ofc it's a nice thing to make a jew die for someone else... Wait... Hitler did almost the same but... like 6.000.000 times better of! So, Hitler is even better then Jesus! Well... Awesome ...
I am a Christian and I also love doing magic tricks. I am thinking about teaching the Gospel through the tricks that I do like u did u r a great magician and seem like I nice guy I loved the video keep it up
Just like magic, religion is just sleight of hand and misdirection delivered by a smiling man who doesn't want you to do too much thinking during his presentation.
this is usually called Gospel Magic or Christian illusions.. as Jesus told stories to deliver a message now in this era we can use optical effects to deliver God words.. i want to be a gospel magician but it is really hard because the Latin churches are very closed minded
Thanks for this. I do this trick too. But I like how you do it better. I'm giving a Magic show to the kids at my church's Christmas Party for Jesus. Your tricks help me alot to prepare. Thanks again,
actually christians practice real magick all the time without knowing it. Altered states of consciousness, all kinds of rituals and "spells", meditation, necromancy. christians are some of the most avid magick users out there.
I was forced to pause around 2:00 because I just couldn't take it anymore... Firstly: How do you know that this "nice old lady" doesn't have a list of sins just as long as yours? Just because you seem nice on the outside doesn't mean you are and always have been. I'm sure the modern Christian bible says something about that.
Second, how do you know that, for example, a bank robber have a list bigger than yours? You cannot deduce the length of one's list based on one event in one's long life...
@konayasai Agreed. I've known of "nice old ladies" with stories so wild and crazy I feel like I'll never experience the world like they did. But gospel magic is usually cheesy and insipid so no surprise.
@konayasai he was only given an example/ anecdote so dont be so technical.. even jesus told stories to the people that were not real we call them parables
@telectronicguy Technical? I'm merely being sane. It's common sense that you don't judge someone based on a single incident, since we all are the result of the cumulative effects of every single day.
Since you for some reason bring up Jesus, completely out of context, I assume you are one of them Christians. In that case, let me respond in kind: John 7:24, 1 Samuel 16:7. To say nothing of Isaiah 53:2! What if people judged Jesus by his appearance when he rode into- oh, right, they did. See now?
LOL I love how the Christians get all up and arms about the word magic. When the early church practiced magic all the time. What do you think turning the bread and wine into the actual blood and body is? Its also sprit invoking. Just because you consider the spirit to be Holy doesent change the fact that its still spirit invoking! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ESOTERIC KNOWLEDGE!
Great presentation! I do magic also, i was wondering if u would mind if I used your patter for this proffesors nightmare trick. Iam a christian too, and have been looking for a way to use the proffesors nightmare as a witnessing tool.
I really like the idea of what you are doing here. I have been doing something similar to this. Check out my channel and please tell me what you think. I am a christian magician, only i am working on full episodes with one particular lesson all the way thru that episode.
Part 2 Jesus spoke to all, roman soldiers, prostitutes, tax collectors, lepers, priests, and fishermen. sorcery is deceptive and draws someone from God to the performer. Jesus' comments were to love one another, sin no more and preach the good news, this mans actions are simple, direct, and still directly present the concept of sin, forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ. God will judge the nature of the heart Phillipians 1:15-18 God bless you brother
if god is preached by music, visual arts, word, action or any type of communication he is blessed. the trick utilized here is about a presentation, or an example. if magic is utilized for the sake of magic it brings attention to the performer.. as in art music, action or verbal communication. Jesus spoke in parables, or examples. in each instance it was not followed by a miracle. sometimes it was, sometimes it was not.
@hockeylvn : Amen, I think this is a great way to share the message of christ, it's not easy getting up in front of a group of children (any age) and trying to keep their attention while sharing the blessing of Christ. I know because I've tried it before. The presentation does help them connect with your lesson.
I didn't say Christian "sorcery", silly. I could call it Christian slight of hand or illusion but Magic is the generally accepted term. It doesn't offend God or go against Scripture. It's ussually good to use terms people understand to communicate. God Bless!
For me, it seems very contradicts that sharing gospel using magic tricks. Magic tricks, even for the simplest one is all about deception. You need to know the philosophy of these things before you can really use it (as a christian) and to share gospel with.
Now that many want's to learn "christian" magic, they will eventually wants to learn more and more. Until they finally find the "real" magic. and it's just too late.
Share the gospel with your life, your humble heart.. not with tricks..
I very respectfully disagree and i wish you a blessed walk. I do make sure all the kids in my class know these are illussions or tricks that everybody can do. I would like to add one thing to your comment. Share the Gospel with your words too. Your life isn't enough. No one will learn the gospel unless it is spoken to them in words.
I won't argue with you bout sharing the gospel with the words. of course it is. words from your life that reflects The Words of God / Bible.
But see this in about 10 or 15 years from now. Are you really sure that they will only interested with the word "gospel" itself. What if they're more interested with the word "magic"?.
I also respectfully disagree. Our society now is more educated than in the dark ages. When you see a magic show, everyone, even kids, know the woman is not really cut in half. Magic is a way of telling a story with illustrations. It is not deception. You are not claiming to have powers. It is no different than a movie. The actor playing Jesus is not really being crucified and really coming back to life. The magician should educate the audience, the difference between magic and sorcery.
Nice job. I like the idea of combining two illusions to effectively communicate sin, the need for a Saviour, what Christ did and how we are to respond. I've done this as well, (combining illusions, not necessarily these two illusions), with some close-up magic while witnessing.
God bless you for reaching out to the lost and for using magic as a tool to fulfill the Great Commission!
Good Job I use both of those tricks in my show. I use the three ropes and tell how god is no respector of persons. at the end I say that it doesn't matter if you are the smallest, Just regular, or the most important person. in God's eyes we are all the same.
I'm really not about sharing secrets though. Many people worked hard to develop those and it's not fair to give away the fruits of their labor. I kind of look at it as their property.
