I will never understand why Herman Baumann does that stupid vibrato. He's very technically talented, but it sounds silly to my ears. Listen to David Pyatt for a full, round tone and virtuosity without the vibrato.

Well.....Just saw your vid and it is impressive for someone @your age. But: you are playing with the horn. To make music (~ to make some noise?) and "musizieren" is something different....And it sounds different. When you will have won your first competition for a big orchestra (let´s say the Chicago SO or the Berlin or Vienna Phil), leave message and I will be the first to congratulate you. But till then....Listen and learn from Mr. Baumann. ;-)

not true, I played all including Strauss 2 when 12 , tone was that of 12 but technique was there. We all improve with age.
