Yeah, unfortunately you need the CD to hear the music in the game. Virtual CDs used with CD emulators like Daemon Tools work too.

i hate how the download from the website doesnt play any of the soundtracks while playing it makes it to quiet used to have this game on cd but it broke i still have that cd for some reason
