how bought if these two shcmucks recive the death penalty for a serial killers crimes? i wonder what they'd think about if it's fair or not to punished for someone elses sin?
Is it fair for rudolph to be the leader of Santas sleigh? Who the hell cares? Its just a story made up by our fellow primates many years ago who wanted a way to control the people and lead them down a certain ideology.
Please think of the question and who it is who is able to judge who and what is fair, allow me to paraphrase his question "Is God fair to punish us for Adam's sin?",who is the judge here,Holy God or His sinful creation?
It's amazing how Dr Geisler uses these logical fallacies and not the whole counsel of God to come to his erroneous conclusions, this is no small matter.
Search the scriptures and see if these things be so.
@3:10, Dr. Geisler says, "according to the extreme Calvinist, God only tries to save some, and only saves some..."
This is one of the fundamental differences between Geisler's view and the Scriptures. God does not "try" to do anything. The very term "try" implies the potential for failure. God does not "try" to save, but He ACTUALLY SAVES!
Why does Dr. Geisler wish to hoist upon believers a god who is a failure?
As if the "almighty creature" can thwart God's decree...fallacious.
I wish Norman Geisler didn't make the mistake of claiming total depravity. Since God provides sufficient grace to all men, therefore nobody is Totally depraved. Dave Hunt corrected Norm Geisler on this and James White confronts Geisler because he thinks he can get him on the Total depravity issue, whereas he avoids Dave Hunt because Hunt detroys James White's faith in Debating Calvinism and What Love is This? Giesler cowtows to Calvinists. But all Calvinism is wrong since Total depravity false
Extreme Calvinists? Ok? Whatever that means.Do Calvinists believe that God only tries to save some and only saves some? Well, this proves that, with all due respect, Dr. Geisler just doesnt understand Reformed theology and Calvinism.Calvinists dont believe God is trying to save anybody. We believe that He actually has saved those to whom it was intended. God does not make salvation possible, if you believe, but God has guaranteed and eternally secured salvation for them that believe.
This argumentation is rediculous and has been refuted by James White.......
Question for Norm and John: Do you believe when God created the heavens and earth that He knew who woud believe and who would not? If so why send the savior to die for those who would never believe? This is the concept of "double punishment."
Just curious how we are defining the term "force" here. Is force always bad? Does this just pertain to physical force? Does the term force here include the force of logic. If all force is bad and logic is a force, does this mean that Christians should not use logic?
Another perfect of example of christian apologist bullshit...

I think the idea is, "Who the heck are we that God, Himself, need be fair or unfair to any of us?"

Geisler has been publicly refuted over, and over, and over, and the man will not repent.
