Nas was obviously the better mc, and tupac had that signature voice, and charisma is always a major winner, thus he was a bit more popular. they both possessed something each other needed, but made them unique, and experienced struggles to lash out into their music. im glad they made peace and respected each other before tupac died, but i would have love to see them collaborate and praise each other when i was a kid. its a shame. i dont really think he neccesarily had to diss jay but he did.

@45olivet Depends on where u were at - if folks were a BIG fan or not. I'm from the Mid-West and personally didnt know much about Chris until Pac was shot...I dont think Any Rap artisist Ever - could compare to Tupac's career. Died at age 25, was in 5 or more movies and put out How many Albums?? And all at 25? Thats crazy. BIG definately couldnt come close...
