If I remember correctly it ran like that on my 386 or maybe 486 back then. Its much smoother in Exult though but this was recorded with Dosbox.

If you party is in need of good weapons, the inn at Serpent's Hold has a whole room full of magical weapons. The key can be found under the gargoyle's dirty clothes :)

i remember playing with ultima vii at the age of 8...whoa...what a wonderful game. über-hard, spooky, virtually endless...looks like Oblivion's dad :)

hm, after playing U7 for several weeks I had all the runes in my mind and didn't have to look them up in the manual. I can't remember most of them now, but knew them back then.

Yes, pure DOS with DOSBox 0.70

But usually I'd suggest Exult to play since it really improves the engine.

I ran it in pure DOS to test the new DOSBox and make some original screenshots.
