What you are seeing is very real indeed. The camera doesn't lie. As said in the video, research was carried out where Phoenix landed and tiny structures were found on the surface which could only have been constructed by an intelligent species.

Do we really have to wait and rely on NASA to confirm evidence to show the existence of an intelligent species.
NASA have admitted that their missions were not designed to look for intelligent martian life but to seek out the conditions that could support human life. Research has shown that the beings of the northern plains and equatorial regions are no more than 1.8mm tall.
Research of the southern polar region tells a completely different story.

I have spent many hours researching the images taken by the SSI camera on the Phoenix lander and have come to the same conclusion as you.
From close analysis of the images I determined that the inhabitants are very small, probably standing no more than 1.6mm with buildings 3 to 10mm high.
