I haven't seen H2, but I think Zombie is at his best when he goes "off the map". I liked House of 1000 corpses and Devil's Rejects for this reason. His movies have a child-like, playful (albeit deranged) charm...and I love the hillbilly white-trash dialogue Zombie is so good at. Keep the lunacy coming. Mr. Zombie.

Everyone ranting on Rob Zombie's films completely did not get the point. Michael Myers is a a legend who's managed to stick around for over 30 years...and you know why that is? Because his story is allowed multiple interpretations. There's John Carpenter's vision and there's Rob Zombie's...not to mention Dwight Little, Dominique Othenin-Gerard, Steve Miner, etc. All are equal and valid.

Well that was just the directors cut ending the ending to the theatrical version was MUCH different. But the DC is a lot better its not just endless killings like in the TC theres a lot more layers as rob zombie says.

This movie was shit. The characters were annoying, the dialog was laughable (not in a good way), and the acting was some of the worst I've seen in a long while. This kills weren't even that great, i don't know what you were talking about when you said this movie had kills that were rough on your insides. WTF the kills were cheesy and this movie was not scary at all, stop trying to defend it people it is shit.

I found the movie to be entertainning because it was a entertainning horror movie, it didn't seem like a repeat of Halloween movies that have been done.

H2 wasnt scary to me. I was expecting it to be alot more intense with more of a body count and alot more blood.... im serious. I have nothing wrong with the way rob told the story or anything but to me it seemed very unorganized. For starters, most of the characters seemed to have very little screen time before they died and you know nothing about them. Second, the story seemed very rushed and in most parts looked like it was skipping around too quickly. Again... the movie was OK not awesome...

I agree, you aren't given a reason to care if anyone gets offed because you don't learn anything about them or why they are there. Obviously there was only ONE character who you feel bad for going down and that was it!

I know, I guess I wasn't being articulate. What I was trying to get across is that you get mountain-man-Michael-Myers and you get the inner workings of his mind a lot more than a mask slowly walking around and tilting his head to guess what he's thinking.
