It is another thing all together when you go out with your video camera, wait for some thing to happen and video tape it all. To have some actual video contents for which there is no other media other than the video to present it is the actual point in making videos.

i guess theres a lot of things you could use if you put your mind to it. an old long green army sock? we dont need to spend a fortune do we? i was looking at a rivers west camo jacket today £180.its just a fleece inner and waterproof outer. so i got a flecktarn army goretex suit for£42 (flecktarn.co.uk) and using my own fleece.simple

I dont know if you have thought about it but if you have extra net you should do it to your barrel also but leave it a bit saggy so it breaks up the barrel shape (heh, saggy)

i tried finding netting like that, but i couldnt, i had to use fish netting which has a lot more space between the knots, im prolly gonna put grass and twigs and such in around the rifle scope, then fold the netting on and tie it up, ill send you some pics when ever i get it finish

If u using ghillie or some kind suit u dont need only camoflage barrel and little bit of body because chillie suit have hood and when u lie down u using your hood to camoflage rest of that rifle.. i was in army and i was sniper we used that thecnique :)

Where I come from EVERYTHING is ghillied up. your hood MAY cover part of the gun but when you are crawling on your belly for 48 hours at a snail pace you do not want the uncovered part of your gun costing your life.

Actually, the camo job that he does is both practical and fuctional as it does not impede the functionality of the scope. real good vid man i did almost the same thing on my air rifle but i painted first , then used burlap and jute thread , with the jute thread being in differnt i even put my scope in my front lawn and the thing went invisble

-You should also have a sleeve-like sack clothe that extends past the end of the sight, to keep the suns angular rays from reflecting off of the front optic.You may be unable to move from your position for hours, during which the sun will move and possibly give your location away.You should have some kind of overhang that wont restrict your view to keep the optic shaded from angular rays.

well thats good, surroundings vary and if you can find somethin that works best for your camo needs than that is best. it helps not to have to spend extra money and a facelift i s'pose, lol. i like to paint all of mine though, no matter what the stock job might be, the finished result is always preferable to the stock i find, especially glare, even if the stock job promises to cut down on reflective surfaces, the paint never lets ya down :)

I love this it's the most practical way to cammo a scope as you can still have access to the turrets which i need on my .308 for differing ranges etc, i'll have to change the front a bit to cater for my adjustable objective but otherwise bloody good idea you have there, excellent vid.
