  • great strategy .. thanks for posting .. =)

  • Hello Manjula. I tried this recipe in my home and everyone loved it. Thank you!

  • How would you describe the difference in taste between the YAM and the Sweet Potato's? I was told to try YAMS and or Sweet Potato's in Risotto. What would you recommend for the best texture, creamy when crushed and on the sweet side?

    Eddie

  • Simple & good... Thanks You

  • Hi Manjula. Great recipe! I just posted a video response of a healthy vegan creamy dill roasted potatoes dish I recently made that turned out fabulously. I thought it might be useful for your viewers who don't like too much spice, like me. Well, actually, I like it, but my body doesn't always agree.

  • i love you manjula!! you are great. these videos are wonderful and the recipes are delicious!!!<3

    thanks

  • The accent is the most beautiful thing about the video.

  • Would be able to tell me, where did you get your grater from?

    Its quite cool...

  • I love your accent Manjula :)

  • thanks aunty iam going to tell my mom

    how to make it

  • This reminds me of a way of cooking sweet potatoes I picked up from street sellers in Delhi. The main difference is that the potatoes were cooked slowly over wood embers, giving a delicious smoky taste. To the pieces of potato were added lime juice, garam masala, chilli powder and black salt. Not as sophisticated as this recipe (which I must try!) but very tasty. I love the idea of adding ginger juice to lemon juice.

  • This looks nice and so pretty! Thanks!

  • what?? Arent sweet potatoes yams? and vice versa?? Im confused where do i get the white looking potatoes from??

  • Sweet potatoes & yams are different, one is yellow & the other orange.

  • BrokenKitty06:

Yams are the orange ones, sweet potatoes are the white ones. You can get sweet potatoes from almost any grocery store, usually in the same area as yams.

  • yams and sweet potatoes are different... yams are stringy... sweet potatoes are not. Sweet potatoes are also sweeter than yams... so im told.

  • That is an extremely healthful dish. It is full of vitamins and fiber. Thank you so much for teaching us to make it.

  • Hi, what is black salt? is it just a different color salt? Where do i get it? Can I substitute anything for it? Thank you

  • You can buy black salt in any indian grocery store it looks kinf of pink but if you dont have it just do without.

  • abey yaar shakkar kandi bolte hai yams ko waha per yams bolte hai.....
