whenever i hear this song i can't help but think that deep down there is a strong urge in Sonic compelling him to dance to it but he can't because the player is too busy controlling him to beat the game but no Sonic wants to stand still and dance, and this is why Sonic moves so jerkily in Star Dust Speedway, it's not because of the stage design or it's gimik, Sonic just wants to dance and he's fighting the player's controles to get what he wants
