I'm in love with this woman. She is so beautiful and her voice his amazing. The way she's portrayed in this is fabulous and makes her even more beautiful. One can only imagine having a partner like her...
Will never forget the luv of my life a beautiful kiwi from dunedin - will love you forever. I will always see you singing this song whenever you got homesick as you did when we first met all those years ago XX
just made a wuick look around here, the song is fantastic. Its jst a pity its shown to a handful of close minded fellow kiwis who haven't travelled out of their back yard. Just like the americans.

yes boss, I'll sing whatever you want boss. I don't want to go in the corn fields boss.... even though you might not want to hear our songs that is older that the bible or the Koran.. we're just polynesian cotton pickers boss... we don't know anything else boss... can i go to the toilet boss????
Cheers Volker for your reply. My response was merely out hell bent frustration. I went back home for a 4 month break 18 months ago for the first time in almost 11 years. I got called an abo in aussie, but that was just about the only racist incident I encountered. When I got on the air NZ flight, oh my god one 40+yr female cabin refused to serve me tea/coffee-when she asked everyone else, asked for a volunteer to fill out a questionaire form but looked at me as if I wouldn't be able to read it
Im very sorry about your bad experiences. I can imagine your situation.
I talked only about the Polynesian culture and not from the white people culture in NZ.
It is a well-known problem that some better people thing not wealthy People are automatically crooks.
What I can to, is to start a German website or a YouTube account, with promotion for the big fantastic parts from your culture. I think it is the worthwhile. But I need first more information and material.
apiaway Im not a culture fetichist, no way, but important parts from your culture are very valuable and should never be forgotten. It the first time in my live, that Im willing to do something for maintenance a culture.
Polynesian is on the other side from the planet and out of our focus. So I try to bring it more in our focus. To lift up the Polynesian peoples image on the deserved height Level is very easy for me;
and when it was time to leave the plane, I even said goodbye, and again I watched her say goodbye to everyine except myself. I don't know if you've ever been treated like this but I've had it all my life from private schooling, to the workplace. So, I'm not imagining it. I know it. Another example: as we were travelling on pound sterling my savings go a long way so we were able to afford a 4 berth campervan for 8 weeks. I was accused by some old cunt same age as the lady on the plane maybe older
of stealing the campervan. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He stopped three of his tour group and was saying to them " He stole it...bla bla" I pointed this out to my wife who was in the back feeding our baby and she came to the front seat. As soon as this wanker saw her he clicked then without saynig anything-just walked off back to his bus. His tour buddies just looked bewildered. Another incident, I parked next to a water basin where I just to run around when I used to train -
they all started taking photos on the mobiles and it wasn't until I drove halfway down the road I arrived at my conclusion. Before I left, one of them came up to me and struck a converstion with me but within the initial pleasantries, he asked questions surrounding the "how did you get one of these expensive campervans?" I'm an AV engineer here in London & I do doorwork on the weekends. Doorwork-11 years now & I have almost seen it all from stabbings, shootings, drug dealing in narcotics no kiwi
well being 37 I feel justified at my explanation. It makes me very frustrated to be get stupid pakeha antics because they simply cannot think polys can be successful. Hence the assumption of being branded a thief as I was when I was home in 2007. I live in England and I regard them more civil than nz europeans.
I live in England too and I don't see any difference between NZ pakeha and british pakeha. But I guess since you're 37 you have more life experience. I'm 21 and times have changed. Or maybe I just lived in a more multi cultural area
has ever seen let alone heard of. But up there in the top three abuses - RASCISM. Volker, I've been called every nigger name you can think of because I try to stop drunks from killing themselves. But here's something you probably don't know, when kiwis come here and go out, they're in the same boat as anyone else and yes I've also got my fair share of name calling from my own countrymen who are supposedly meant to be from one of the friendliest countries on earth, according to the brits.
I don't think so. I've talked to a lot of my mates who still go home and I conclude that white kiwis cannot associate polynesians with wealth so it comes with automated criminal suspicion - hence my time back home. It was good seeing home, but NZ has moved on & I can't hold my temper for that long. Brits are far more friendly than kiwis who seem to - as my best mate from home says " compared to the international stage, NZ'rs live in a bubble" Because of my bad experiences I won't be home soon
Simply superb!

No, no! Not so harsh.
You are completely wrong.
Your basic Polynesian nature is one of the best in the world (My opinion) compared with other cultures, despite all of the problems in the pasific.
Your traditional music and dancing is in a natural way very honest. This have also to do with character. I can see that.
Ive seen lot. You can trust me.
I envy your people for that. Maybe we move because of all this in one of the Polynesian part in the world.
