I have a xtm x cellerator like this one and I broke the pull start on it and was wondering if I should get an easy start or if I should replace the pull start. I have been searching and haven't found any replacements yet, so if u know where I can get one please respond.

I have a xtm the same as yours but it won't start. Ive tried your way but the compression gets tight and hard to pull. I often find the car flooding and it just won't tick over in getting frustrated any ideas ???

yeah to simple just adjust your throttle trim clockwise a little bit and before you do that make it sure your wheels are off the ground....

no u don't u only have to break it back in if u get a new piston and sleeve. im 16 and been in this hobby for 3 years i aboustly love this hobby ;) i want to get a xtm but my moms starting to get mad with the 8 i have know. also great vid man these really help :)

Does anybody know why my pullstart is so stiff on my x-cellerator? also, howcome occasionally there is nitro dripping out of the exhaust pipe?

the reason why fuel comes out the echaust is cos its flooded

I've blew in the pipe, from the tank, no fuel comes out of the exhaust, i've unflooded lots of times, it wont start, anybody know why?

you need to take out the glow plug and dry it off after unflooding and you need to make sure there is fuel reaching the carburettor

Done that :| Don't really wanna dismantle the engine, Dunno why it wont start though.

if it doesnt work, u should get it checked over at your local model shop

it is, i have a battery one too, its not that i took out the bit put it into the plug and it started glowing up & smoking the model shop said it was fine.

Gas coming out of the exhaust is perfectly normal. The exhaust manifold acts sorta like a vacuum sucking out all the unburnt fuel.

well most rc nitro cars have this little thing u can twist where the fuel comes in so if u lossen that it might be working ( its not that idle that im talkin about)

Hi i have been told that i would have to uncrack the spark plug before i open the throttle thats to prime it then to start it you have to tighten the spark plug and then put in your glow plug then start it by pullstart is this right because you didnt say nothing about uncracking the sparkplug.

no you do not have to losen the glowplug. Just turn the cars electronics off, turn the throttle servo to the open position, hold finger on exhaust and pull the cord a few times until fuel runs through the lines to the carb. Usually you will feel a difference in compression once fuel is being drawn into the engine.
