Dude, there are 2 shortcuts in Papu's Pyramid. Right before you get to the finish line, There's sort of a big U-turn. You can cross over to the other side of the track by jumping in between the U. :)

You can open N. Tropy's ghost in Cortex Castle, but you just have to be fast... I managed to open his ghost when i was fast + went on a shortcut in every lap... It's definitely the hardest track to unlock N. Tropy's ghost...

How about try only using the shortcuts that N. Oxide uses? If you wanna truly master this game you shouldn't use any shortcuts he doesn't use. It is very possible to beat him on every time trial track and not use these huge shortcuts that (in my opinion) kill the CTR skill. :)

@ScorpiusNZ Actually quite few of the shortcuts require skill to pull off. For example try to get a race on Slide coliseum where you get all shortcuts on all 3 rounds. Thats pain in the ass.

I have alredy complete this games, even all the time trials against oxide... but never noticed the oxide station "shortcut".

PS: there are 2 shortcuts you missed, one in papus piramid and the other in polar pass.

TBH theres quite a few shortcuts I missed, These were the ones that I remembered on top of my head while doing the vid. I was thinking of doing a filler but well, With these u can easily get the oxides from teh maps I filmed :3

U can obtain him with a cheat code. He is the best character in the EU version. On NTSC version he is the same as pura/polar. Just google "CTR penta cheat" and u'll find the code

It's because you're using Penta Penguin, man. His turning is excellent like Polar and Pura, but to beat N. Oxcide's ghosts, you need pure speed. I beat them all using N. Trophy, but he's the same as Dingodile or Tiny. I prefer Polar honestly (my favorite character), but he just can't get the job done.

@CTMiami1972 The thing is... I'm playing on PAL version (european) on this version, Penta has all maxed (IIRC, atleast he is as fast as tiny but turns as good as polar) and in NTSC (american) version penta = pura.

I used to love playing this game when i was young. I thought the hardest level was Pinstripe in Hot-air way. Also the hot-air way shortcut (2nd) was amazing

thanks for comment :). I remember when i was kid i allso suck'd at hot air skyway. but now (like 7 years later) it is one of my facorite tracks... because it has a little challenge :). Oxyde station is the best one IMO. I also like both of the snow maps.
