@roansythen Eh, I always thought the glowing thing happened whenever a biotic felt strong emotions. As for why it happens when she takes the oath, maybe the oath really does carry a lot of emotional weight to her. It seems like something a character like that wouldn't take lightly.

@qawmame It's the only potential romance you cannot really pursue. However, the game hints at it a lot. One of the advertisements in the Citadel (level 28) can, for example, mistakenly think that you and Samara are a couple.
