  • How would you put a design at the BACK of the t-shirt?

  • low value greens, yellow and orange were the only colors i saw that worked for life. Thank you for this video!

  • That's the tree you draw with the PEN TOOL???????

  • so can i do this on gimp?

  • You little Bits,THX!

  • Awesome!

  • Thank you SO MUCH for posting this!

  • Great tutorial! Where do you go to get the shirts printed?

  • Loved your Tut.... I'm new to making T-Shirts. I have a question. Some printers say they want each color on a separate layer. Have you ever had to do that? I have designed my shirts with each color on a separate layer and then made the mistake of grouping to resize. Then the entire piece of art all when onto the same layer! Now I have to separate them again. Geeesh. Do you know how to avoid that or even if separate layers are necessary???

  • where can i find a screen printer or silk printer

  • hey im about to buy illustrator mainly for designing t shirts but my question was if there are any better tshirt templates that i can add my design too, like more realistic looking shirts?

  • Just would like to say that I loved your (above) tutorial! I look forward to seeing/going to more of your tutorials, especially when I need any instruction & inspiration. Thank You! :-)

  • How did you make the tree?

  • @grapefruit68 the t-shirt templates are found at (threadless . com /submit) I believe if you just download the illustrated template, that gives you the t-shirt temps your looking for!

  • Visit Patternstyler for easy design in 3D

  • I am trying to press onto dark shirts, but the fonts are textured (not flat colors like vinyl, it's like bubbles and stripes etc)

After printing and cutting, I have to "peel" the letters and arrange them by hand. If it were white shirts, I could just keep them on the sheet and press it face down, but since it's a dark shirt, I have to peel them.

The letters and words fall out of place and sometimes curl up. What should I do?

  • @izlude2 Oh yeah, what I mean by textured is that I'm using 3G opaque transfer sheets and printing these textured fonts.

  • Check out Patternstyler for 3D design clothes

  • hi i need serious help i cant get my design to print out like 100% girl to place on transparency paper them expose a silk screen so i pulled upatrial version of adobe illustrator cs5 do u should suggest i use this for my designs and slogans instead pf paint and microsoft word wich hasnt been working anyway

  • this is quick and easy!! thanks

  • this is a really nice vid but I dont know anything about adobe illustrator. How did you learn it and how long did it take you? Is it hard to use?

  • @15gmt internet, no

  • @15gmt not at all just learn everything as you go designing something

  • I would like to know how to obtain a licensed copy of Adobe Illustrator for Mac. I don't want to pay the full price for a copy. I just want a license. Do you know if the older version is just as good? What version are you using in your video? Perhaps you could sell me a licensed copy?

    Thanks,

    Jon

    msg me :)

  • Please help, i had a t-shirt design with white text and red outline on it. When i got the shirt, it had only red outline printed. Why is that so? Do I have to make white color as a spot color or what, because white color is C:0,M:0,Y:0,K:0, so it is no color at all

  • whats the name of this program? does it allow you to design your t-shirts? can you cut and paste or scan your images to your t-shirt with this program?

  • what if 1 of your 4 colours touch another and make a 5th? or if you do a gradient ?

    nice vid..

  • can you please answer my question. what kind of printer are made for shirt printing and the price?

  • can you please give the link for the t-shirt template you have there? so the size of the design really doesn't matter that much?

  • how do you color a picture that has been imported to a document

  • While using a mac, instead of clicking on the top menu bar to create outlines, control click on an object and select create outlines. Saves time.

  • noone is going to teach you for free, best advice is to google tutorials on google, check out forums and actually open illustrator or photoshop and start messing with it. thats how i learned, actually i am an architect and i learned illus, and photoshop in the process of doing renderings. good luck.
