@nikkcore not sure whether or not this is of any use to you 10 months on but in the actual report it says it aimed to identify whether or not children under the ages 7 AND 8 can conserve matter... and the use of 5 and 6 year olds was to make a comparison, so if the children under 5 preformed really badly, it would prove that children under the age of 7 can not conserve matter
the fixed array condition...the pre displays are not seen at alll.
