Thank you Master, although thousands of words are not enough to say it, but I bow at your door for gathering my shattered soul together with your kindness and being patient with my ego. Master of the Masters,,love of the beloved,,,you remain in our hearts and dreams forever until infinity,,,never leave..never,,,
I love the last part. "I was searching for the truth and stumbled on this path". God chooses whom HE wills among his servants. Like the Hajj everyone is able but only few are chosen.
I have watched this video multiple times, and each time I learn and discover something new about myself and the Path of Love. Listen to the silence, the moment is all there. Blessings be upon his resting place, Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh will always be remembered in our hearts and will continue to be our great mentor and friend.
oh sufi ich erfreue mich so sehr an deiner lichtvollen Erscheinung. es ist so glücks bringend deinen kraftvollen worten zu lauschen und mit dir zu SEIN
My understanding is when a Master writes or speaks is for the sakes of others to have a glimpse of the truth (if they ever).Otherwise his/her very own inner experience is unspeakable and no matter how hard you try to explain but it will not make a sensible explanation. His books are about Sufism and the manner (outward) of the Sufis toward others and He laughs a lot because God loves fun!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
First of all, "Pir" could explain him the definition of sufism and also how he could start this way, rather than confusing him and making him disappointed.
Secondly, how do you know of his "very own inner experience", if it is unspeakable?
Thirdly, the truth is so complicated that even biggest spritual leaders don't get more than a glimpse. They all have a limited capacity. We shouldn,t make a false imaginations of them. Even prophets emphasized that they were just a human like us.
I think he already explained Sufism by saying this is practical not speakable when was asked about Sufism. Next, no Master talks about his/her own inner experience just as simple as that. ( i am not a dervish so you have to pardon me for not knowing any phrophet)!
Ya haqq My father, Jeffrey Rothschild was a dear friend to the master as was I The Sufi order has lost a great leader Master I miss you yet here you are still in my heart
If you are not a darvish, it's better not to involve yourself in this issue. You perhaps have read the meaningless words like "glimpse of the truth" and "very own inner experience" somewhere, without knowing if these exist or just were used by many guys for deceiving the people and increasing the number of their blind followers.
Do you think we don't know that he had so many articles, books and interviews about the sufismif. (Unspeakable??!)
Dude you better not be telling me not to involve myself in this issue because my father has been a darvish and a Sufi for 30 fuckin years so I dont know who the hell youre telling that to but it better not be me

There is always controversy against the great masters, it has always been. Power and religions are always against them.

He was powerful, rich and religious. Wasn't he?

He for sure knows how to disturb ones intelligence:)

Yes, I see that in your nonsense sentences.

He asked a serius question. I wonder why they are laughing?
If soofi is not "shanidani" and "Khandani", why he has published somany books and articles and has had so many presentations about the sufism?
