I just tried water marbling for the first time and it turned out okay, but it was really messy and the polish didn't get to the very edges of my nails. This method looks like it gives you way more control of what your swirled look like and where they go.

@ohtheresclaire many many many years ago there was a technique we were doing for swirling where you pull through the nail in verticals.....then, over the years, i began swirling in circles....then, more colors...then the french became popular and i began doing this......it progressed over time into this, but yep....i thought of it...or, it found me over time ;) there was no magazine to learn this from!! i think i did a tutorial for this in nails magazine in the early 90's!!!!

@bubblegum153 bubblegum! you are so welcome!....this is messy too in a way...but? its just 'different' kind of messy....tell me how they turn out and how easy or difficult it was using this tutorial! xoxoxoxo......hint: the quicker you work, the better so have you polish shaken, lids off, brush clean and ready, and wipe finger off as soon as you pull off the polish ......do each step quick and shake polish if it starts getting too thick to marble......:) good luck!
